Skye POV:
But then I hear quiet „Skye, where am I?" coming from behind me.
Back to present
„CHASE!" - I yell as I run to him and tackle into the hug.
„Woah Skye, I'm glad you're here. I thought I'll never meet you again" - He says as he hugs back. I couldn't believe it. But then everybody came in, probably they heard me screaming.
„CHASE! YOU'RE ALIVE!" - They come to me and pull me into group hug. Then doctor which just came in says:
„That's impossible! Only 15% chance!"
„When can I go out?" - Chase asks.
„2 weeks. After this you should rest 1 week. Remember to sleep a lot."
„Ok."
Rubble POV:
Damn it! I thought he'll die. I got to fake now, so nobody will know I got him to this state. I'll just silently continue my plan.
2 weeks later
Chase POV:
Yes! I can finally go out. But with me this cursed leeters will also come back. I don't know what to think about. I'll just sleep, I guess.
1 week later
Skye POV:
Chase has really changed. He was either sleeping, or just laying down in his puphouse, except of meal time, but he sits far from us and eats almost nothing. I don't know what's wrong.
Time skip to evening
Chase POV:
Another week, another letters day by day. Enough of this. I'll not read new ones. I'll collect them so nobody will see them but I won't read it. I think I'll stay here for a while.
Marshall POV:
I'm very happy with Everest. I can't imagine my life without her now. But Chase is acting differently last time. Everytime I see him, which is rare, because he's usually not coming out, he seems to be very sad. Maybe I'll talk to him.
„Chase, open up." - I say to hear nothing.
„Open up, I know you're here" - I try again. Then Chase opens. I haven't seen him like that. He was teary-eyed and shaking.
„What's wrong?" - I ask.
He gestures me to go inside.
„So, why are you like that?" – I ask as he close the door.
„I don't know. I really don't know. You have Everest. And what do I have. Nothing."
„Oh, so it's about Skye, huh? Okay, here's my advice: Act natural. And remember, that you also have me."
„Thanks, Marshall. Thanks, brother."
„That's what brothers are for. Ok., I'll go. Everest is waiting for me."
„Ok. Thanks again." – Chase says as he wipes tears away.
