THE ROOF STARTED RATTLING AND WE WERE OFFICIALLY SPOOKED.
Ian is alive and I cannot seem to wrap my head around it. I mean, I could because that's just my life, but it is still unbelievable.
"Did things just get incredibly worse?" Aria asked. They've been worse. This just happened and we can't even see each other in broad daylight.
"I can't believe this. Ian's dead." Emily exclaimed.
"No. Zombies don't text. Okay, he is alive somewhere." I huffed. How is this happening? I saw his dead body with my own two eyes. I literally watched him die.
"I have to get this phone back before Melissa realizes it's gone." Spencer let out.
"Okay, you put it back and then what do we do? Do we call the cops?" Emily rambled.
"Oh, yeah, because the cops have been so helpful." I muttered sarcastically. The cops will only make things worse.
"Why is Ian texting Melissa and why is Melissa answering him?" Aria asked.
"Is she? I mean we don't know how long this has been going on." Emily replied.
"Spencer, look, you've gotta find out what Ian told Melissa. You're the only one who can find out what he wants!" I exclaimed.
"And where he is." Emily added.
Now the roof was rattling even more. We're not safe here. We're not safe anywhere. I always feel like I'm being watched.
"Let's get out of here!" Spencer said as we ran out.
We walked back to Spencer's.
"Let's finish this in the morning. I'm cold, damp and scared. We can talk at school." Hanna told us. Actually, we can't.
"We can't talk at school, remember? The five of us are supposed to be having separate time." I mocked. I was trailing behind a bit to make sure we weren't being followed.
"So what are we supposed to do? Not talk to each other?" Hanna asked.
"We're in the same classes." I shook my head.
"We'll just have to play it cool." Spencer replied. Then all of the sudden, they all stopped dead in their tracks.
"Uh oh." Hanna muttered.
"What oh?" I asked. It's cold and they just stopped moving.
"Bella, I wouldn't walk forward if I were you." Spencer warned. What the hell are they talking about?
"What? Why-" I said as I walked forward and immediately regretted it. I should've just listened for once in my life.
In front of my eyes, I saw Jason back at the old house.
