The morning was a beautiful one, you noticed, a lovely Spring day for the Company to begin their grand quest. The pony you rode, which you'd named Buckleberry for the plants growing along your path thus far, tossed his head and you patted his neck, a pleasant smile on your face. Your spirits were high, and it seemed all of your companions' were, too. One ended up riding up beside you on the road when it widened out and you chatted with him cheerfully as you went along, though you were oblivious to the sparkle in his eyes as he looked at you.
