You were having quite the bad day. First of all, your best friend had disappeared without a trace or an excuse on the same day your father passed away. You weren't sure how to go on right now and so you just sat on your favorite bench in your favorite part of the gardens and stared into the sky, tears dripping down your cheeks. All of a sudden, you someone wrap you in a gentle hug and turned, startled, to find Boromir, your best friend (and the man you had secretly fallen for) with his arms around your waist, trying to comfort you. You leaned into the embrace and cried for a very long time until it felt like you had cried all the tears left to cry.
"You know I'll always be here for you, don't you?"
You looked up at him and gave a weak, thankful smile.
"I know."
