Your mind was still whirling from the events of Smaug's attack on your home of Laketown, but you were determined to stay alert and assist those who needed help more than you. Although you had several burns on your body and felt dizzy and slightly nauseous, you still insisted on caring for the worse wounded. Your close friend Bard watched you with a worried gaze from just beyond the patch of beach where you tended to a man who had lost a few fingers in the blaze. Behind him stood the elven prince Legolas, who seemed to have taken a liking to you the moment you met, defending Bard's children from an orc attack. He also watched you with concern in his eyes and spoke up about it to Bard, standing before the Laketown man.
