If she could solve a mystery and find treasure with her friends, escape the arms of her psychotic relatives and abruptly ruin her relationship between her half-bother and her ex, then tackling on another year at Amun Academic Boarding School didn't seem like a challenge to Abigail-River Lawrence.
Having put the Cup of Ankh back, which then got destroyed, thus completing the search, River hoped that life would go back to normal. However, what happened at prom never stayed at prom. With family secrets being exposed, it only led to more chaos in River's life — her brother (well, half-brother) wouldn't even look her way, Ryder and Devi Lawrence were always fighting upon the revelation of Devi's affair with Rufus Zeno, Noah Michaels avoided her and River just had enough.
River hoped that the new school year would bring something good out of it. However, it brought something much, much worse than she foresaw. When old friends return, a familiar boy joins Anubis boarders, a new student arrives (American, obviously), a shady housemother settles in, and old foes reappear, River Lawrence along with her club members are in for a treat.
Sibuna has a new quest this term — find the Mask of Anubis or die in the arms of an Egyptian spirit. There was no backing out of this. Everyone was after the Mask. It was a game of life or death. A game of survival. And Sibuna was in for one hell of a ride.

season two lets go!! 🤩 i can't wait for y'all to see more of river with the rest of the characters. this season you'll see more of noah and more of the chaotic friendships river has with her housemates!!
there are ninety episodes and season one only had sixty which took me like more than six months to write, so this is gonna be a long ride. buckle up folks
