Chapter 2; A shock to the system.

My jaw dropped but my pulse rose as i went into complete panic; I couldn't understand what was happening. "Mum." I said faintly. I didn't look at her, i just kept my eyes locked to the TV screen. I saw her look at me through the corner of my eye. "Yes?" She said with a tone of worry in her voice. She came and sat next to me. "I know your going to think I am crazy, but this was my dream." I looked at her with a worried face. "What? I don't understand what you mean sweetie?" She said smiling acting like everything was alright. "Earlier, I fell asleep and had one of my usual perculier dreams. This is what happened, and I was one of the people on the bus. And even worse, it was that exact bridge." I said close to tears. "Oh don't Worry Honey, you probably just heard of this before or something. It's just a dream; it doesn't mean a thing" She laughed. I was rather mad. Everyone just treats it like nothing, but this time its serious! No one has a dream, then the exact thing happens later on the news. I stood up and stormed to my room, overpowered by confusion and fear I layed on my bed and burst into tears. Why can't I just be normal?

I woke up in the morning, same place where I was last night. I was still wearing Joe's sweater; still wearing my damp clothes which were now slightly dry considering I had been laying on them all night. Knowing it was tuesday I jumped up in panic to look at the time; 5.00am. Seriously? I got up anyway because I know I'd need a shower otherwise I'd smell like forest water at school. I pulled of my clothes and hopped into the shower putting it on a hot temperature. As i was standing in the shower, it hit me. About my dream, about the news; the crash. I got ready as quickly as possible. After drying my hair, packing my bag and making my breakfast, I went to get changed. I slipped on my denim skinnys, my big grey sports jumper and converse. Suprisingly, I was 20 minutes early for the school bus so I decided to go knock for Mel who is usually the first person awake in the mornings. As soon as the door opened I blerted out "You won't believe this!" realising it was her mum standing there, not really looking amused to see me. "Would you like me to call for Melony?" She said in an emotionless tone. "Yes please" I said red in the face scratching the back of my neck. She yelled for Mel and then looked straight back at me. "So, how is school?" She said arquardly. I looked up at her "Yeah, its very good thankyou." Luckily Melony poked through the door. She ran past her mum and said bye. "Oh dear, Im so sorry you had to experience that." She laughed looking embarressed. "Thats okay, Your mum is fine" I said but she pulled a face that obviously disagreed with me. "You'll never believe this." I mumbled.
"What is it?" She said in a anxious tone looking at me.
"I had a dream, down at the woods last night. About a crash in a bus that flys of a bridge..."
"Wait, that sounds familuar?" She said sounding puzzled.
"Did you watch CNN last night?" I asked looking at her.
"Yes! There was that crash right? In south carolina!" She said raising her voice.
"Well that exact bridge, that crash, everything was in my dream which I had before it actually happened!" I said starting to work myself up.
"Seriously!" She shouted "Wait, are you sure? Thats impossible" She said lowering her tone.
"Im sure Mel, something isn't right with me at the moment and I really need to find out more, but I don't know how."

We got on the school bus carrying on the conversation. The bus wouldn't start for ages because some kids were refusing to get on due to the accident yesterday. In the end their parents just took them home to drive them to school. "How pathetic" Mel murmered.
"I'm not suprised, it was pretty scary." I said reflecting back to my dream.
"You weren't there Seph." She said laughing. After a few minutes the bus engine turned on and most of the kids started cheering.

The classes at school carryed on as usual today; boring and slow. I sat there day dreaming in most classes, finding it hard to concentrate. I just was just waiting on the weekend for the big party, which I couldn't wait for. I just needed to keep careful as most parties from my school end up in trouble and include the cops. I got in from school to find a post it note pinned to the fridge with a small magnet, it read "Hello Sephoria, Sorry, I will be out for most of the day running some errands so I left a frozen meal for you in the freezer. Don't worry; Cody is at Grandma's and could you possibly do some jobs for me please? Thanks x" She then wrote a list of jobs for me. I sighed as I ripped the list from the fridge starting to read the jobs. I started with putting a load of clothes in the washing machine and then went off into my room to collect my ipod. After a while I chucked the wet clothes into the tumble dryer and looked again at the crumpled up paper that was squashed into my jeans pocket. "When the clothes are dry, could you please put them put them in piles of whos they are and put them away in our rooms."

I sat on the sofa for a while, waiting for the clothes to dry and rested my head on the side. Slowely sinking down I knew I was about to go into a sleep. I tryed to sit up preventing my eyes from shutting, but it was no use. My brain felt tired and my eyelids got heavier and heavier until it was black. Please, please, please.. Oh no.
