You know those days were you would be coming home just to crawl yourself into a little ball in your bed and you can't do anything about it because you don't know where that feeling comes from?

Well, this was one of them.

You entered your house, completely exhausted. The only thing you wanted to do was cry yourself to sleep, even though you didn't know the reason why.

You kicked of your shoes, threw your bag into the corner and ran upstairs into your bedroom.

The immediate feeling of the soft silk sheets made the tears stream down your face.

You just layed there, crying in the dead silence.

They say that silent tears are the most painful ones but you couldn't feel any pain.

You didn't feel anything at this point.

The feeling of not knowing why you were feeling like this frustrated you.

You couldn't help but scream into the pillow.

"Babe?" you heard a deep voice ask.

You knew it was Gilmher at the doorway so you didn't bother looking up.

You didnt want him to see you like that. Bloodshot and puffy eyes.

You heard his footsteps coming closer until you felt the end of the bed dip.

"What's wrong?" he asked, rubbing your back slightly.

You couldn't help but let out a loud sob, making Gilmher's heart break for you.

He continued rubbing your back with a sad look on his face.

He didnt know what was going on with you and he hated seeing you like this.

After a while he started to feel a little awkward because he didn't know if you wanted to be alone or if you wanted him to comfort you.

"Should I leave you alone? Do you need some time for yourself?" he asked cautiously.

That's when you picked up your head and wiped the tear stains from your eyes.

His heart broke at the sight, so he engulfed you in a hug.

You gladly put your arms around him, enjoying the feeling of his comfort.

You always told him how his hugs made you feel better when you were feeling sad.

So that's when he knew that whenever you're sad or just not feeling like it, he just has to hug you to make you feel better.

It was something about his hugs that just made you feel secure and comfortable.

After a few minutes in his arms, you stopped crying, only some sniffles coming out of you.

Gilmher noticed that, but he still didn't want to let go of you. Instead, he held you even tighter and rubbed your back softly.

"What's wrong?" he asked as you pulled away from him.

You just shrugged, wiping a tear away with your sleeve.

"You know you can tell me anything, right?" he said, tucking a strand of your hair behind your ear.

You nodded and sighed.

"It's just- I don't know" you explained and he pulled you onto his lap.

"What do you mean?" his eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

"I don't know why I'm feeling like this okay?"

"I just came home and I just felt so down and wanted to cry my eyes out, even though there is no reason to do that." you rambled, looking down at your hands fiddling with each other.

Silence filled the room and you felt the tears come back up again.

A little sniffle slipped out, making you feel even more embarassed.

"Hey." he put his finger under your chin, tilting your head up so you could look at him.

You gazed into his eyes, immediately feeling this warm feeling in the pit of your stomach.

"It's okay to feel down sometimes. You can't expect to always be happy. That's not healthy." he caressed your cheek with his thumb.

You nodded, closing your eyes, leaning in to his touch.

"Thank you." you mumbled as you opened your eyes again.

"For what?" confusion laced his voice.

"For always being there for me."

"For always knowing what to say to make me feel better." he stared at you, a smile plastered on his face.

"I will always be there for you." he whispered to you, making you smile.

You placed your hands on both of his cheeks and pressed your lips on his.

You put all your love in the kiss, making him and you smile into it.

You pulled away and he pulled you into his embrace, lying down on the bed.

He was always there to give you comfort and that's why you loved him.
