Julie's POV

We just stood there, no words being exchanged. The faint beeping of the car horns being heard out in the far distance. exchanging awkward glances as we stood side-bye-side, letting the summer chilly air consume our thoughts.

"You're not going to talk to us?" She asked finally breaking the silence

"You are the one that said you wanted to speak to me" I replied the obvious

"Are you trying to make us jealous and upset? Because it's working" She admitted, my eyebrows scrunched up together in confusion. Turning around and finally meeting her chocolate orbs that screamed home to me

"Jealous? What are you five? And how am I meant to be making my Mam jealous?" I asked, getting impatient with her suddenly

"You have never been this close to Kimba.. Why the sudden change?" She asked raising her eyebrow and folding her arms across her chest

"Maybe because she's my fcking Mum-"

"Watch your fcking language!" She hissed

"Oh because you're one to talk! During these past few weeks Mum has been the only one giving me attention. So I'm sorry for showing the love and affection back to her!" I snapped

"I gave you attention!" She said, her tone was unconvincing she knew she had neglected me these past few weeks

"I beg to differ" I said ready to walk away she quickly grabbed my wrist making me stop in my spot

"Julie" She whispered, her voice shaking with emotions

"No.. Just leave me alone" I snatched my hand away and began to walk through the darkened streets

"You are not walking alone at this time of night!" She said speed walking over to me her heels clinking against the cemented floor

"Oh so now you care?" I asked with a hint of sarcasm

"Why don't you go see how Sophie is doing" I said dryly not making any eye contact with her as I focused on the street posts lighting up the darkened neighborhood

"I thought you loved Sophie?"

"Yeah I do, but I also loved my Mam. Let me know when you find her" I said finally letting my first tear escape my eyes. I quickly brushed it off and ran, I ran as fast as I could needing to get away from everyone in that moment. I could hear Mam calling my name as she tried to catch up to me. But I was faster, way faster; disappearing and illuminating into the darkness

Cheryl's POV

"JULIE!" I cried out one last time as me legs gave in falling to the pavement. What have I done? I've ruined everything, she hates us! I picked meself back up and cried all the way back to Kimbas families house. Bursting through the door, it went dead silent as they took in the sight of us

"K-Kimba" I sobbed going into her waiting arms, crying me heart out as she held us close to her

"Can everyone please leave?" I heard her say as me tears began to grow louder

"What's happened?" She asked taking me face into her hands wiping me tears away

"S-She.. I tried- I couldn't.. S-She-" I couldn't string a sentence together, the overwhelming hurt in me heart closed up me throat making it hard to breathe suddenly

"Shhh come here" Kimba had no clue what was happening

"No! We have to g-go find her!" I snapped pulling meself away from her comforting hold
