Part 8

Julie's POV

Today was fun for once I actually enjoyed myself. We spent the day shopping, had lunch and dinner out. We arrived home half an hour ago Kim and Cheryl are putting my clothes in my closet and drawers while I'm laid out on the bed.. Well actually Kim is just putting my stuff away Cheryl is laid out next to me watching Kimberley do all the work

"Yeah you guys just watch me" Kim said jokingly

"Babe I'm too tired! Me feet are killing us" Cheryl wined

"I'll have to give you a massage then... or not" she said teasingly

"Don't tease Kimba" Cheryl shot back

"Whatevaaaaaa" Kim sang and I just laughed

"Oh Jules um.. Tomorrow we have to go the doctors for a check up before you start school next week" Cheryl said and I nodded okay and stood up walking to my dresser pulling out an album and popped it into the stereo slot and plunked myself back on the bed low music filled the room

"Oh I like! whose this?" Kim asked

"Echosmith, they're one of my favorite bands" I said first time ever talking about my interest

"They're good!" Cheryl said, I laid down beside her and closed my eyes letting the music fill my thoughts

Julie's POV

"What do you guys say we have a movie night?" Kim suggests

"Mm that sounds perfect but I get to pick the movie!" Cheryl said sprinting out of the bedroom

"Kids" Kim mutters winking at me

"Come on let's go before she breaks something" she says and we walk down the marble staircase and walk through the front room with Cheryl holding a DVD in hand

"Which one is it this time?" Kim asks going over to Cheryl

"Ghost!" she says waving the DVD in the air

"Agh not again Chez!" Kim wines

"Awwww come on babe it's good! right Jules don't you like it?" Cheryl asked hoping I'd back her up

"Never watched it before" I shrugged

"You've never watched ghost before!?" they both say inSync

"Yeah well the only movie I've ever watched was A Walk To Remember.. and I didn't really get to watch it all because.. well long story" I said and they boy had a sad look on their faces, they seem to be doing that a lot

"Don't look like that" I said

"Like what?" Cheryl asked

"Like you feel sorry.. it really isn't that big of a deal" I said a little annoyed of their stare

"Sorry" She said going over to sit on the couch

"Well anyways I'm a little tired.. you guys can have your movie night. Good night"

I said giving them a small smile and heading back up the stairs ignoring their calls and shut the door behind me I laid out on my bed like a starfish letting out a long loud sigh. I brought out my sketchpad from my the nightstand and began to sketch nothing at first then I realized I was drawing out Kimberley. I continued the drawing and after finishing it I look at it proudly I added small details in her eyes making them have that sparkle she has. Suddenly feeling sleepy I laid my head against the notepad for a second and not realizing I had fallen asleep.

Kim's POV

"Babe I think we hurt her feelings" Chez says while watching the film

"We didn't mean to.. I mean I did feel bad she's never watched a film properly before" I said thinking of Julie's life

"She's so smart and beautiful I don't know how anyone would want to hurt her like that. Or not care about her as a matter" Cheryl said

"I know.. maybe we should go check on her?" I suggest

"Yeah come on" Cheryl says standing up and taking my hand leading the way to Julie's room. We open the door slowly finding Julie asleep on a notebook sprawled out across the bed. We walked over together taking the notepad from under her finding she sketched a photo of me. It was beautiful and so realistic you'd think it was a photograph not a pencil drawing

"Oh my god" Cheryl whispered touching the paper carefully

"She's so talented" I said inspecting the drawing more

"She really likes you, you know" Cheryl said

"She likes you too" I said and Cheryl shook her head

"I see the way she looks at you, like she's safe when she's with you.. I don't think she feels that way with us. I feel like she's afraid of us a little" Cheryl said in a hushed tone. I didn't answer I covered Jules up and lead Cheryl and I out of her bedroom and into our own.

"Babe Julie really cares for you! Just give her time.. her life isn't all that good.. Tomorrow we will have a lot questions answered and especially yours" I said kissing her softly and embracing into a long hug that I knew she needed

"Now come on let's get some sleep" I said taking her hand and leading her to the bed

Julie's POV

"Okay we just need a blood test from you" the doctor said

"No no no please" I said about to let the tears drop I'm terrified of needles

"Is there another way we can do this test?" I asked hopeful

"We can do the little poke to your index finger" he said

"Okay fine let's do that" he nodded and left the room

"Are you afraid of needles?" Kim asked giving me a little hug I nodded against her chest. As she was standing and I was sitting on the little bed they had available in the patience room. The doctor returned to the room and instructed for me to give him my finger and I hid my face into Kim's chest and she held me tightly as the pain quickly came and left

"And done" the doctor said

"You will have your results within this week" and he left I looked at Cheryl and Kim confused

"What results?" I asked. They both hesitated before answering my question

"Oh just if your blood is clean and that you're not sick or anything before starting school" Kim said running her fingers through my hair

"Okay" I said and we left the clinic
