It was the apartment Alex gave you when you left. It has been a year and a half since you went back. You thought it would be nice. Go on a vacation for a while and then come back. It wasn't. When you had arrived people were waiting for you. These were ' friends ' of the detective. They were to make sure your stress levels were low and you had your sanity intact.
But you knew the truth. You weren't insane and you didn't have stress, you knew the truth about what happened. The people always watched over you. They made you feel insane. After two years you started getting stressed and your heart rate would pick up. They made you this way and you didn't like it. The smile you use to wear was gone. You wore a sad smile.
