You walk the streets, smiling happily as you sip on your smoothie in the sun. Summer is amazing when you feel the sun's warm rays caress your skin, only now something blocks your way, casting a huge shadow over you.

"Oi, I'm trying to enjoy the su-Namjoon?"

The tall figure in front of you turns at the mention of his name, furrowing his brows when he doesn't see anyone in front of him. You roll your eyes, tugging his sleeve. He looks down, eyebrows raising in surprise.

"Y/N? From high school?"

You nod, giving him a warm smile. He returns it, kindly moving a little to the left so the sun can continue to warm you up.

"How are you? I haven't seen you in ages." You ask curiously, casually sipping from your cup.

You think back to the last time you saw Kim Namjoon, smiling at the fond memory. Once upon a time, you were taller than most in your class, including the giant standing in front of you. Making fun of his height was the highlight of your day. Of course, he took it as a joke and laughed along with you.

Now the roles have changed.

"I'm good, just working hard to keep my rent up but other than that, good." He smirks as he looks down on you. "Y/N, I see you haven't changed since high school. Still telling those high school kids that you're taller than them."

You slap him on the chest and laugh, finding the tone of his voice teasing but pleasant. It feels good to hear something familiar after so long.

"How about we go out for some drinks and discuss how you turned into a freaking giant?"

He cracks a wide grin and agrees, immediately giving you his number.
