(Jk's POV)
I was still feeling guilty, for asking Devil that question.
So I plan on apologizing to him today.
But when I reached my classroom I didn't see him there.
Well it's usual for him to skip classes.
So I didn't get worried.
But soon all morning classes ended and it was time for lunch.
After grabbing my lunch I saw Jimin and the other guys sitting on a table at the far end of the cafeteria.
I decided to go there.
“Hey...can I sit with you guys?” I asked, already prepared for the rejection.
“Yeah sure!” Hoseok said, making space for me so that I could sit between him and Jimin.
They were all taking among themselves.
So I asked them the question that has been bothering me all day.
“Have you guys seen Dev- Taehyung today?”
“You seem quite interested...?" Jin hyung asked me.
“Well... you guys told me to befriend him... I...”
“Jin baby...give him some break.” Namjoon hyung said.
Baby? Are they like together?
“He called me, said something happened at his house...” Jimin told me.
“Ohhh...”
“Btw how much progress have you made?” Yoongi hyung asked me.
Suddenly all the guilty feeling came back.
“Pro-progress yeah... Ah... I'm working on it...” I said.
“You better work on it kid” Yoongi hyung said.
I nodded my head.
How am I supposed to tell them that I don't wanna befriend the Devil? Oh God...
“Hyung! You are scaring him... Hey there's no hurry okay?! Just do it with chill!” Hoseok hyung said to me.
Guess he ain't that bad huh?...
“We are going to tae's house after school? Wanna come?” Jimin suddenly asked.
Go to the devil's Dane? Nope
“I didn't ask my Mom so...”
Not a complete lie...
“It's okay Jungkook! It's good to know that you listen to your Mom!” Jin hyung said, proudly.
“So are we guys friends now?” I asked uncertainly.
“That's not th-”
“Yes yes we are!” Hoseok hyung cut Jimin mid-sentence and said.
With that the lunch time ended and they left me after saying goodbye.
At least... I have friends now.
