Today is my nervous day the day of when not only will Ethan come here with his little family but Laura's also coming here with her little family.. Somewhat they're also my family too..

I was spending half the time looking in the mirror trying to fix my hair into a good looking spot, I was sweating like a pig!! So I grabbed Cologne and sprayed a bunch on me, I think I went a little overboard but oh well at least I will smell good for Laura even if she's not my girl at the moment

Just then my boy Ethan walked in and smelled the room, he then started to cough a whole bunch... Does this Cologne smell bad??

"Dad! Did you spray too much Cologne on you? The smell is good but it's also too strong!!" He whined

"Of course I did.. I'm trying to look and smell my best for Laura.. Is it too much??" I asked

"Too much.. Your trying way too hard dad"

"*sighs* yeah I know.. I'm just trying to win her back"

"I know you love her so much but.. Why did y'all divorce anyway??"

"It was difficult.. We felt that we needed to end it as in we weren't interested in our marriage anymore..."

Ethan then sat next to me as the tears built up in my eyes as my eyes we're now a huge waterfall, he rubbed my back gently

"Just know if you need a shoulder to cry on.. I'll always be here to be that shoulder" He smiled

I'm honestly so grateful to have a son like him.. He has his mother's positive and beaming attitude and that's what I like.. He also looks like her too...

"Thanks lad"

"No problem dad, you were always there for me on my depressed days when I was upset about mom and how I was scared to get another mom, I thought I was gonna have to replace her"

"No, that's why every weekend you would spend time with her which made you less upset and smile more"

"I know I was always curious on one thing tho"

"What would that be?"

"Why did you and mom split?"

I'm getting dressed into this fine occasion with... Ross, I already had Lauren and Logan over here with the kids.. We're gonna go over there at Ross' when Bailey returns home from school

Just then I heard kids screaming which was CiCi and Dylan running into my room as they were playing around so I turned around

"Now now kiddies.. If you wanna play, why not play in the playroom I made for you CiCi? It's a playroom for a reason, I'm really busy"

"No!!" Dylan shouted, he's literally a rude kid😒

"Ugh! Lauren!!" I shouted

Lauren the came running into my room gasping for air

"What mom??"

"She's hear to say that she's being tattle tale!!" Dylan said as he stuck out his tongue trying to mock me then he ran off

CiCi then followed him, I hate how he's influencing my grandchild poorly, he's basically a bad influence around her and it just has to stop!!

Lauren's eyes then widened yet she didn't go after them.. Good parenting my friends👍

"What's wrong?" She asked

Is she really being serious right now?? Did she not just see how rude that kid was being? Is she seriously gonna act like nothing happened???

"Are you kidding me right now? Did you not see the way that kid was acting? He's really disrespectful Lauren!! Is he seriously tagging along with us on this journey?? He's a bad influence on CiCi!!" I exclaimed

Lauren sighed

"Mom, we have no choice his mother is working.. Plus he won't be a bother to you over there.. He's gonna be hanging out with CiCi, Everleigh and Caspian"

"Oh.. The player? Why is Ethan letting such fuck boy hang out with his daughter?"

"Mom.. Please stop with the drama..."

Dang it.. Now Ethan won't talk to me, I don't know why this all of a sudden bothers him now!! I would've expected him to be calm..

Just then I heard a knock on the door and sweat started dripping down from my head and landed on Ev.. Oops

"Ew!!!" Ev started to scream

Caspian then moved her away from me and got a wet rag gently wiping it across my head as he gagged and threw it away

"Thanks Cass"

"No problem"

I then looked at the door that was about 5 inches away from me.. I got closer to the door and looked back at the crew, they all nodded their heads Ethan just only had his arms crossed

I sighed and moved my hand and grabbed the door knob slowly turning it to open.. Just then the door opened to reveal the kids running in to talk to Ev & Cass as Logan and Lauren came in making their way over to Ethan and Evelyn and Bailey ran in to give Hailey a huge bear hug..  so I looked at the doorway to only see the gorgeous Laura standing at the door awkwardly swaying her foot back and forth..

I decided to take chance and just went outside and closed the door from behind me to make conversation with her.. I missed the good old days when things weren't awkward for us..

"So..." She spoke

I can tell things are gonna be a lot harder than I thought...
