76. Berserk

Argent, Lydia, Scott, Malia and I sat in the truck outside of Gerard's warehouse, waiting for there cars to leave, Liam, Mason, and Theo were supposed to have some plan to distract them, then we go in and take the guns.

They all started bickering to whether we go in or leave and I didn't understand what was happening but I sided with Chris, he's been doing this his entire life.

"When has Chris ever steered us the wrong way" I asked them "if we don't go in we might never have a chance to" Malia stated "or we go in too soon and die" I debated, "guys look" Lydia pointed to the trucks leaving. We quietly entered the warehouse, Chris went first to take out the security cameras.

Lydia and I followed Chris to the surveillance room. There were two men sitting in front of the cameras, I took out the rag with chloroform and placed it over ones face while Chris got the other one, we watched Malia and Scott enter the empty armory.

"They knew we were coming" Chris said "there were way too many guns for them to just take out without anyone noticing" I said. "Let's jut get them and go" Lydia said, I looked at the screen to see them pulling at a door "what the hell are they doing" I mumbled.

As soon as the door they pulled at opened, I seen there exit shut close, "please tell me one of these buttons opens that door" I said to Chris he looked around "nope" he told me, "of course not, how could it be that easy" I mumbled "what's that flashing light" Lydia asked, Chris examined "those are motion sensors, for a Halon fire suppression system, if the sensors are triggered lol the oxygen would be pulled out the room" Chris explained "except we know Gerard didn't set that up for a fire, he set it up for us" I stated.

"Did you guys hear a gunshot" Lydia asked "no" I told her "we shouldn't have come, earlier I seen the windshield crack and I heard a shatter, now I'm hearing random gunshots" Lydia admitted.

Chris stood up and hit his gun in a pipe several times until there was a hole in it "don't trip the sensor" Chris yelled, I looked at the monitor, Scott and Malia looked upwards, "they heard" I told Chris.

Scott and Malia jumped over the red laser going around the room, they jumped onto one of the shelves, "this is hard to watch" I said turning away from the screen.

Chris was pulling through wires cutting and reattaching.

I found myself looking back at the monitor, watching Malia hang from the ceiling, I was crossing all my fingers and toes, praying and hoping, those lasers don't brush by her, Malia smack something and it fell to the ground, passing a laser scanning the floor.

Malia and Scott fell to the ground, "it'll take minutes for hunters to get here" Chris told us, we ran out of the surveillance room and headed for the armory.

Chris's stopped us at a turn, he pulled out smoke grenades and through them down the hall to our left. He then headed into the smoke, Lydia and I followed after him.

I grabbed one of the hunters and banged his head on the wall, he fell to the ground unconscious. I looked over to see that Chris and Lydia handled the other two hunters, "how do we get through the door" I asked "with a banshee" Chris said.

Chris and I ran towards the back of the hall and covered our ears as Lydia screamed into the door.

We went to the McCall house, Mason and Melissa were already there, Scott and Malia went to take a breather. We looked at a map that Malia and Scott found, there were red dots on different places, California, Italy, Sudan, France, Brazil etc, I've lived in every single one of these place for more than a year. "This is where every single nemeton is" Chris told us "Nemetons act as a beacon to supernatural" Mason reminded us "so if someone wanted to kill all supernaturals, this is where they'd go" Chris said "I thought Gerard only hated the supernaturals in beacon hills" I mumbled "what did they do to him" Melissa asked.

I seen Agent McCall walk through the door "no ones going anywhere" he started, Mali and Scott came from downstairs "Gerard gave out all the weapons in his armory to everyone in beacon hills, the sad thing about it, is that it's legal" McCall told us, "everyone get down Lydia yelled.

I heard the windows shatter, and the sounds of an automatic gun, I swiftly jumped in front of Lydia when I seen a bullet hit her stomach, I felt a sharp pain in my arm and leg as I was crouching down.

I took off my jacket and wrapped it around Lydia and I pressed down, "Aubrey you're bleeding too" she said, the gun fires stopped, I looked up to see blood spreading across the floor, I wrapped my mouth around the bullet hole in my arm and I sucked on it until I felt the hard metal between my teeth and I did the same with my leg.

I started running towards the door "Aubrey no" I heard Chris yell.

I seen a boy running towards the street, holding something half the size of him, I sprinted as fast as I could towards him, I looked left to see headlights that hurled towards me.

I closed my eyes then opened them again I started running towards the car, I leaped up and jumped on the hood of the car, I looked into the windshield to see David with his eyes wind open and him trembling, I kicked the windshield in, watching the glass fall onto him, the boy with the gun got into the car, he was young, like high school. The car started to speed faster, I looked David in the eyes as I held onto the roof of the car.

The car jolted back and I went sprawling forward, finding myself on the ground, the car started coming towards me, I rolled over to the side  and the car passed me.
