Her eyes was a treasure of Gold,
Her lips a secret ecstasy,
The brightness of her smile,
Was a blind man's fantasy .

Her body was the key to heaven
Her touch the gate of hell.
They engulf me in flames,
Who knew it would be such a perfect agony .

She's only ever in my dreams
My eyes open and she's gone,
She's walking away,
From the heart I stretched out in front of her.
No she's running away.
But I'm committed to this chase.

I went home early that day, then I called in sick for two days and now here I am on this beautiful Thursday still not willing to go back to school.

Call me a coward but I didn't think I could face him after what I had done.

Well, it's not like I did anything wrong.

Sighing , I fell back on my bed , I'm not going today either.

"Kayla wake up oh" my dad called banging on my door.

I walked to my door and opened it , showing my best pained face, I clutched my tummy.

"Okay daddy, I'll get ready."

My dad noticed my face, "your stomach is still paining you? Oya just stay at home today, okay?"

I shook my head, "no I don't want to miss class."
Gasping as if it had gotten worse, I leaned against the door.

"Don't worry, omo dada (good child) just stay at home okay?"

I nodded and went back in my room, I waited till he had gone before jumping, "Yes!"

"That's the stomach that is paining you abi? "

I turned around to see my mom standing arms akimbo, next to the door I stupidly left open.

She hissed, "cmon will you go and bath and get ready for school."

I waited till she left before sitting back down on my bed.

On getting to school, I went straight to my class praying that I won't see anyone.

God must have answered my prayers , because apart from Nessa who asked if I was okay, everyone let me be.

During march past practice , I was going through a routine with the girls when someone tapped my shoulder.
