Hunted from Heaven

I WOKE TO THE SOUND of hissing voices coming from outside my room, I rolled over and moaned. The low glow on the eastern horizon told me that it was early morning.

"You can't do this," came my mothers voice in a plead.

"It's not my decision, this message is straight from the first Triad- Choir 1" came a voice of power.

"Seraphim?"

I didn't hear a reply, the door to my room opened then, I sat up in bed and pretending like I hadn't heard anything.

"Do not through Hierarchy at me Gabriel" my mother addressed, the Messenger to God, Gabriel, as described in the bible.

"It's my duty Armisael- as your is to guide those into the world"

"Mother, what's going on?"

"The Triad have made their decision about what happened during the attack" I couldn't believe that this was what it was about.

"But it was and accident," I slid out of my bed, I pulled on a long white robe- it was full length and the sleeves belled out around, my wrists.

My mother shrugged "There's nothing I can do here sweetheart, it's the law"

"So what now huh?" Gabriel approached me, he didn't say anything he just looked at me. I rolled my eyes and put my hands together. He produced and gold cord and started to bind my hand together.

"What are you going to do?" my mother asked hastily as she followed us don't the hall.

"Where going to clip her wings" he said in a deep voice.

"What? Why would you do that, she was going to be a great guardian one day. What happened was not her fault Nathanael was doing his job, I know that Hofniel's upset but I didn't do anything wrong. "

Gabriel pushed me through the front door, and started leading me up a hill to the hall of the First Triad. Mom didn't follow, she stayed behind at the house. "It's not permeate, just for a semester." he said, disregarding my statement.

The hill slopped upwards as we got closer. The hall was a larger ornate building that has been around since the beginning of time- literally- it acted and the Triads Parliament building. We were met at the gates by an older angel.

"Gabriel" he greeted with a nod.

"Seraphiel" he said. He waited as the he opened the gates for us, just by looking at him I could see that he was from the First Choir. They're the highest ranking of angel's. The Hierarchy is spilt into nine choirs and those choirs are separated by three Triads of three choirs.

It's complicated, but makes sense once you see the floor plan for it all. I'm in the Second Triad, Choir 2. For me to be here right now explains to everyone that I must have done something really good or really bad.

As we started up the stairs the angels of different the choir turned there heads to watch as we ascended. I could imagine what they were thinking.

'Demon Angel'

'Ezekiel'

'Diamon' I shivered thinking about the last one.

The double door of the hall opened as we came to the top of the stairs, I felt another chill go down my spine. The hall was literally a long hall, over head the roof was glass with lanterns that free floated from the room. The floor was tiled with gold, in the center was a picture of when God created earth. On either side down the long isle were high desks were archangels sat and other angels from the triad. Closests to the door were Choir 3 angels- Thrones. Towards the center was choir 2- Cherubim. And at the end of the isle was Choir 1- Seraphim.
