Kenjirou Minami x Reader (Gamers)

"Minami." "Minami. "Minami." I repeated to him as I tapped his shoulder, putting more pressure into his arm every time I got ignored. Minami paused his game and turned to me with an annoyed eye twitch.

"Yes....?" He asked me through his teeth and I smiled at him gleefully. "Play with me!" I said to him and wrapped my arms around his neck pulling him into my chest.

"I'm on a very important level here
(Y/N), I'll hang out with you later." Minami told me and went back to his game, taking it off of pause.

I pouted and looked at the screen as Minami ran around a playing map. "You know- I feel like you love that game more than me.." I trailed off and crossed my arms. Minami sighed and paused his game once more. "Do you want to play (Y/N)?" He asked me and I rolled my eyes at the screen. "Seems boring. And besides..." I trailed off and looked to the side, "I don't know how to play.." I admitted to him with an embarrassed blush.

Minami chuckled and leant over to his desk. "Not to worry, I'll show you what to do." He told me and patted the place between his legs. Urging me to sit in his lap.

I shrugged and crawled over to him, sitting up in his lap and taking the controller he set up for me as I watched the screen load. I looked at the buttons and scratched my head in annoyance. "Uh...huh..." I mumbled and felt Minami put his arms around to the front and setting them down on my chest as if it was acting like a little shelf for his controller.

As Minami pressed play I ran around the map like a headless chicken, not knowing what controls do what or where I could do. Or even what I was doing.

"You've gotta be careful that no one in red shoots you." Minami warned me and I nodded as I started to get used to the controls. It was very hard to shift my fingers to the right buttons sometimes, hand-coordination was not one of my stronger sides.

I was better at this than I had originally thought, I often surprise myself by doing small things like that!

As I buttons smashed like a pro, Minami sat there with a cool head and panned around the map gracefully. I groaned as I was shot by the opposite team, being out for the rest of the mission.

Minami clapped his hands once he had finished and smiled to me gently. "Boom." He told me and placed a kiss on the top of my head as he embraced me gently. I pouted and looked away from the TV with my arms crossed. "You're used to it, I'm not." I reminded him in a monatonal tone of voice.

Minami chuckle and hugged me gently. "It's alright. It takes some practice before you get used to things." He reminded me and I gaped for a moment before going back to my pout. "Shut up..." I mumbled against my jacket and I listened as Minami's clothes ruffled as he shook his head.

"Come on, try again.." he encouraged me and I picked up the controller once again, looking up to the tv and agreeing to take part once again.

As we played another few rounds, I found myself beginning to get better at the controls and remembering what to do. Soon I was killing others in a matter of moments, headshots all round.

Minami seemed to be even more impressed than I was, which I didn't believe considering that I didn't even think I was going to get the hang of things without wanting to throw the controller, console and the tv out of the window.

But thanks to the moral support of Minami I actually completed without flipping tables and yelling at the top of my lungs.

Well....I might've yelled a little bit, but that is getting off topic right now.

Maybe it was time for round 3, I just hope that Minami is prepared for my sick new skills.

"I'll crush you (Y/N)! I'm better than you at this game!" Minami shouted to me as I chased him around the map with every upgrade imaginable. "Yeah," I said as calm minded as I could, "sure you are Minami~" I teased him as I killed his game character for the 10th time in a row. I smirked in satisfaction as I listened to Minami growl in annoyance.

((Yeah it sucks I know, but don't even worry about it. I swear that I'm trying to make these chapters longer XD
