I sat on the bench and watched as my boyfriend Yuri skated his latest routine on the ice. He was so elegant, so graceful. Well that is until he falls....

I always knew that Yuri lacked in confidence within himself, it was one of his biggest disadvantages. I tried my best to help him through his depression and overcoming his fears. Sometimes it was hard, sometimes it was easy, and sometimes it just wasn't worth trying.

I stood up and leant on the barriers after Yuri finished. "Here, have some water Yuri, you look exhausted." I told him and handed him his water bottle. Yuri came over panting and ran a hand through his hair, taking the bottle with a small smile. "Thanks...." He trailed off for a moment and took a sip of water.

I returned his smile and rubbed his shoulder. "You have really been working hard lately Yuri, I'm so proud of you!" I exclaimed to him happily, earning a small chuckle and blush from Yuri. "Thanks (Y/N), it's always good to have you at practice. You always get me in a good mindset." He looked to the side blushing and laughed it off gently.

I covered my mouth with the back of my hand and giggled. "Aw Yuri, no need to be embarrassed~" I cooed at him and looked down at my hands as his covered them. He walked out of the rink and sat me down on the bench. "I want you to put a pair of skates on." He says and hands me a pair of them standing back up.

I turned my head in confusion but put them on anyway and carefully walked out into the rink clinging to the barrier. "Yuri! You're the skater! Not me!" I yelled and heard him chuckle silently before putting a hand around my waist. "You'll be fine, I'll be able to concentrate better with you here with me." He said and led me out to the middle of the rink holding my waist and one of my hands.

I gripped his hand tightly, in hope that I wouldn't fall down or anything. Now that would be embarrassing for sure. Yuri looked to me and smiled softly. "Just watch me ok?" He asks and skates gentle circles around me before letting go.

I steadied myself and crossed my arms. "Since when do I not watch you- You know what don't worry, go for it!" If I started an argument with him now he wouldn't be in the right headspace for it.

On the 5th time of going through it I yawned and skated off the ice putting my normal shoes back on. "We better get home Yuri, I've got to get dinner started." I told him and heard as he shouted to me "Yep! Sure thing." And he went and got changed meeting me out the front.

I drove home making small talk with Yuri. I complimented him on how concentrated he began to look out on the ice. Like he was actually enjoying it for once.

Every other time it was trying to improve, trying to change into someone he wasn't. To skate you have to skate using your heart, sometimes Yuri would fake being something he isn't. The times when he does that would be the times I hate the most, because he doesn't stop at faking to skate. He then starts to fake his personality.

I pulled into the driveway and stepped out of the car walking into the house and dropping everything. I flopped onto the couch and sighed. "Just a little rest before I have to make dinner." I told Yuri and felt as he leant down and gently kissed my head. "It's alright, I can cook if you want." He told me and walked to the kitchen. I sat up and shook my head. "Uh no, it's alright Yuri. If I have to be honest you're the only man I know who can burn pasta." I told him and giggled quietly.

Yuri nodded and sat at the bench. "I can agree with that one." I walked up behind him and wrapped my hands around his stomach, resting my head upon his back and sighing peacefully.

"Do you know what I love about you Yuri?" I asked him and looked as his head effortlessly turned to the side. "What's that?" He asked me curiously. I rubbed my head gently on his back and smiled. "You are Yuri Katsuki, and you aren't afraid to be who you are anymore. You can go out on the ice and skate from the heart. There is one question that boggles my mind though-" I paused and took in a breath.

"What changed?" I asked him, finishing my sentence. Yuri turned himself around and sighed. "Well, before. No one was there to watch me, no body ever shouted me support. There wasn't anybody. But then.." He trailed off and gently pulled my towards him. "I met a beautiful girl, with shinning (E/C) eyes and (H/C) hair. The moment I saw her I realised that there was no need to fake anymore...." He smiled and pressed a sweet kiss to my lips.

I sighed and melted into his kiss, opening my eyes I then pulled away. "I changed you?" I asked him and watched as he nodded with a precious smile. "Who else could do anything like that to me except for the one I love most?"

I nodded with a smile and kissed his forehead. "Thank you." I told him gently and stepped into the kitchen to prepare dinner.

For how many moons cross the sky as much as the sun, they don't change anything, instead they send things to make something beautiful.

((Yuri. Yuri. Yuri. HE IS THE MOST PRECIOUS THING AND HE MUST BE PROTECTED!!! Ahhhhhh!!! I love him so much! Especially when he blushes and there is a little bit of sweat as well. AWWWWWW!!! >////<
