Jace Grix's POV

It feels like this is the longest night of my life. I haven't done anything to satisfy myself and enjoy my life. I am not ready to die. Not at this point of our lives. Nicole Erin is lying next to me, suffering from her shot plus the coldness of the night makes her suffer more. I wrap my arms onto her. She's hot even when the night is cold. I can't let you die like this, Nicole Erin. I still have a lot and better plans together with you. You have to endure the pain until we reach the Arkazea. The paradise that you were talking about.

"Jace..."

I heard she uttered my name.

I looked at her pale face.

"Hmmm?"

I replied.

"I love you."

She said then she starts crying.

"Ssshhh...we will get through this. Just hold on."

I couldn't hide the sadness in my voice.

"Kung may mangyari man sa akin, I want you to continue to live your life. Don't turn back and just walk straight."

Matapang niyang bilin sa akin.

Nagsisimulang manlabo ang paningin ko sa kabila ng kadilimang bumabalot sa aming dalawa. Walang liwanag ang sumisilip at kahit ang buwan ay tila sinasadyang mag tago sa likod ng mga ulap. Sobrang sakit nito. I grabbed her hand and hold it tight.

I can't lose you now. Not this time, Nicole Erin. I already have the guts to tell you everything. I didn't suffer from amnesia. I just wanted you to stay away but I failed. You didn't keep your distance instead, you keep following me.

Hindi ko na napigilan ang pag pasok mo sa magulong mundo ng mafia. I was scared to lose you. Now, we're at the critical point of our lives and I couldn't even protect you. I'm so fvcked up. If only I could just turn back time...but I guess, It's too late.

"Wait patiently for their response. They will get here no matter what. I'm tired. I can't wait anymore."

Pahina ng pahina ang boses niyang nanginginig.

"Nicole Erin..."

"I love you..."

I said.

Niyakap ko siya ng mahigpit. Wala akong balak pakawalan siya sa ganitong sitwasyon. Hindi ko kakayanin.

"I'm still happy. We may not have spent so much time together but, I will treasure this moment with you until my last breathe."

I couldn't hold back my tears. I let it go.

"Loving you is my greatest joy. Thank you for the memories. I shall not forget them. I love you, Jace."

Damnit!

"Stop. Reserve your energy later. Marami pa tayong pagdadaanan."

Sabi ko.

Isinandal ko siya ng maayos sa balikat ko. Tulog siya. Oo, tulog siya. Mag hihintay kami ng sabay sa pagdating nila.

Third Person's POV

Maka lipas ang isang oras at pumatak na ang oras ng ala una, saka lamang nakarating at natagpuan nina Red Veras, Skylie Meir, Zaide Kyo at Xerxes sina Nicole Erin at Jace Grix.

"Jace!"

"Nice!"

Sigaw ng apat.

Tila naalimpungatan si Jace sa sigaw na narinig kung kaya mabilis pa sa alas kwatro itong naging alerto saka tinawag ang pansin ng apat.
