Eddie's POV
I was at the waiting room, looking down and praying.
Ben was with me, he was trying to get me calm.
Hours later, the doctor arrived and looked at his clipboard.
"Edward... Kasb... Kaspbrack?" He said.
"Yes" I said.
He approached me and put his hand on my shoulder.
"I don't like giving... b-bad news but... I-I'm sorry."
"No... No, no no no no... Rich... Richie!" I sais, running to his room with tears.
"Hey! Please! Come back here!"
"Eddie! C'mon!" Ben said, running after me.
I arrived his room and saw him.
"No, no, no... Please, Richie!" I said, taking his hand. "Wake up... Please wake up! I can't live without you..." I said, crying.
"I-I'm sorry, Eddie..." Ben said, putting his hands around my shoulder.
"You don't need to..." I said, wiping my tears off. "He's in a better place now..."
"Hey... He's a warrior... But this battle... He... he couldn't make it this time..." The doctor said.
"I know..." I said, stroking his hand.
"He wanted to give you this..." The doctor gave me a ring.
"Oh, Richie..." I said, putting the ring on. "I do... Babe... I do." I said, stroking his face and kissing him for the last time.
"I'll always love you, Richard Tozier..."
