chapter 40: GMG day 3: Pandemonium

Leanne's pov
I woke up early this morning and I am a little bit nervous because today I would have to participate in the games so I got to the dining room where Mira was making breakfast "good morning Mira" i said as she handed me a plate with toast and eggs "good morning Leanne did you sleep well??" she asked and I nodded when I was about to take a bite of my toast Laxus and Gajeel showed up I said good morning to them and they said or grumbled Gajeel's case a morning back.

"Ladies and gentlemen welcome to the third day of the grand magic games today's event is called Pandemonium so teams sent your participants forward" Chapati called trough the speakers as I made my way down to the arena where everyone else was waiting because I was the last to arrive "yours truly has arrived" i said making a mock bow Erza chuckled and walked up to me "always one for a grand entrance aren't you Leanne?" she asked I smirked at her "you know it" i said then the pumpkin man came to us and told us to grab a stick there was a giant upside down castle "the contesters will enter pandemonium and challenge a number out of a 100 monsters and the person who has defeated the most monsters in the end wins" Chapati explained the rules I looked at my stick and saw I had a number 8 and looked at Erza and saw she had number 1 "well this is over" i sighed making everyone look at me in confusion "she got number one and she is a monster herself so this is over before it began" i said dropping myself on the ground with my legs crossed Erza walked up to the pandemonium and challenged all 100 monsters making the stadium fall silent

"UNBELIEVABLE ERZA SCARLET HAS BEATEN PANDEMONIUM" Chapati yelled making the entire arena cheer as I rushed towards her and caught her before she fell o the ground "you did well big sis." i whispered as I gave her to Natsu and Gray who took her to the infirmary to get checked up "now since we have to find another way to declare scores Lahar of the Magic council was nice enough to give a magic power finder everyone has 1 turn to send their strongest attack at the MPF and the highest wins of course we go down after that till the lowest" Mato explained when they place a weird looking machine Milianna the old friend from Erza went first and got a score of 394 after her was Hibiki who scored a pathetic 94 he tried to hug me but I stepped out of the way making him fall face first into the dirt "sorry but I'm taken" i said turning back to the competition where Obra from Raventail got a 4 by letting his weird pet hit the machine something didn't feel entirely right but I let it slide next was Orga from Sabertooth he scored an impressive 3254 making the Sabertooth fans cheer Jura went after him and I knew we were in for a treat I don't know what attack he used but he got a mighty 8244 when finally it was my turn "i wonder how Leanne from Fairytail will beat the score of Jura" Lahar said as he looked down "well she is a fairy so I wouldn't be surprised if she has a trick up her sleeve" Yajima commented making me grin so I turned to the referee for approval and when he nodded I took my Nebula blade out wich had a more dark energy floating trough it now after my father had unlocked my black dragon magic I rushed towards the MPF and in an blink of an eye I stood back on where I was the force only showed 7500 the referee was about to call it off "I'm not done that was only the beginning of the spell" i said with a smirk making the entire stadium stare with wide eyes in shock and curiosity I pointed my arm op with my middle and pointer finger and slowly brought them down pressing them back into my fist "Barrage" i said activating the spell when a group of magic circles appeard above the MPF shooting Yellow projectiles towards the machine creating smoke from the impact and when the smoke was cleared there was an entire crater where the MPF once stood wich was completely obliterated "uhhhh" was the only thing that came out of Chapati's mouth so I slowly walked away back towards the stands when the crowd finally recoverd they exploded in cheers "unbelievable both Fairytail teams stand on top of the standing for this event neither teams are to be stopped" he yelled excited I saw Yajima grinning I knew he favored Fairytail heavily because of his past with master Makarov

"now as our first fight Is Fairytail B's Laxus Dreyar against Raventail's Alexei" Chapati said our eyes widened and we all looked at Laxus "Don't worry I got this" he said walking down there was during the entire fight this nagging feeling in my stomach because what I saw couldn't be real "something is wrong" i said Mira looked at me "what do you mean Leanne?"  she asked worried "i don't know but the Laxus I know wouldn't get his ass handed to him like that" i said when suddenly the field shifted and showed Laxus standing tall against all Raventail members "i knew it" i said gnashing my teeth "well it looks like Raventail have cheated and after some discussion they are discalified from the games" he said making us all sigh"well at least Ivan's little plan failed" i said making them all nod I turned towards Laxus who just entered our stand "you okay big guy?"  i asked him he let out a small smile "yeah don't worry I'm fine" he reassured.

"and now for the final battle we have the cutest battle ever little Wendy of Fairytail A against Chelly welly" he called and I glared at him he feeling my glare looked at my direction and shiverd
"You can do it little sis!!" i called to Wendy and she waved back to me

When the match ended I immediately jumped down towards Wendy and tilted her up in my arms and spun her around "you did it little sis!" i exclaimed and she laughed like a kid who just got candy so with her in my chest she buried her head in the crook of my neck and fell asleep I chuckled softly at my little sister and carried her back to the inns where the teams were staying I first went to Team A's Chambers and laid Wendy down in a bed and pulled the sheets over her and kissed her forehead "rest little dragon tomorrow we have an day off so don't worry" i said softly as I left the room and went back to my own since we had a day off tomorrow we decided with the guild we would go to Ryetsue land with the entire guild
