As much as I tried to avoid Marie, I couldn't. She's so irresistible.
"You've been avoiding me, why?" she asked me,
"I haven't been avoiding you," I lied,
"You're not a good liar, you know that right?" she said,
"I feel like I have to avoid you, cause you fucking cute an I'm gon fuck around and do something stupid. But I can't cause my wife crazy, she'll kill us both" I said,
She laughed like it was the funniest shit she's ever heard. I was dead serious, Desiree doesn't play about nothing I do. I'm surprised she hasn't questioned me about where my jacket went.
"What's funny?" I said,
She stopped laughing, "Nothing" she said. "I just don't see why you don't want to explore your thoughts. You obviously want me, I want you.. We can keep it on the low,"
I didn't say anything, I'd rather not.
"Nah, cheating on her is something I could never do" I said,
"When you change your mind give me a call," she said before getting up and walking away.

Desiree was still sick, all she could do was lay down. And when I'm not working I'm usually sleeping with her.
"Baby I don't think this is normal," Desiree said,
"Getting sick is normal baby, but don't worry. I'll take care of you," I assured her.
"You've been doing that for a while now, I know you're tired of me and my mood swings," she said,
"It's coo baby, I promise it is," I smiled at her.
"Are you gonna spend the rest of the day with me?" she asked,
"Yeah, what you trynna do?"
"I don't even know, anything" she said,
"Where's your other Tommy jacket? I wanted to wear it earlier but I couldn't find it" she said,
I'm not good at lying, so I don't do it. Especially not to Desiree.
"I let some girl borrow it," I said,
She mugged me hard as fuck, "what's her name?"
"Why you wanna know that? I only let her wear my jacket," I said,
"No, there has to be more to it. The other day when you came in, I could tell you were thinking about somebody else. Lemme find out you got a side bitch an imma kill both of y'all" she barked,
"You trippin man" I said,
"No nigga, you trippin. Letting bitches wear your jacket an shit. When I found out who it is, I'm gon stomp that bitch face in,"
"Chill, you don't gotta take it that far. It don't matter," I said,
"What's her name?" she asked me, disregarding what I just said to her.
"You don't need to know that, it's not even that serious," I said,
She chuckled, "Why don't you wanna tell me her name? You gotta be fucking her"
"Her name is Marie" I respond without looking at her.
"So you are fucking her?" she yelled,
"Yo calm down, you don't need to be yelling while you pregnant," I said, hoping that would calm her down.
"Answer my fucking question Mani" she barked,
"No, I'm not fucking her" I respond, dryly.
She slapped me, hard. The whole side of my face sting. But I did what I normally do when she slaps me, I stared at her with a blank expression.
She kept hitting me, I had to grab her hands and tell her to chill but to no avail.
"Why you always in yo feelings?" I yelled,
She continued to hit me until finally she broke down, crying.
Her mood swings get on my fucking nerves.
"Get the fuck out my face Mani," she said,
I didn't move,
"I didn't fuck her," I said,
"Yes you did"
"No I didn't" I responded,
"We can go back and forth all day, I got time," she said,
"Baby... I swear I'm not fucking her"
"K" she said, getting up from the bed.
Her insecurities are starting to piss me off. I be trying to spare her feelings, but right now. Fuck it, she needs to hear this.
"You're so fucking insecure for no reason. I can't go nowhere without you thinking I'm fucking a bitch. I've never cheated on you, you know it so chill the fuck out. Didn't I fucking tell you I wasn't going to do that shit? Damn, I swear you don't listen. You too busy trynna catch me slippin, but that shit ain't gon happen so dead them thoughts," I barked,
"Just leave Mani, I don't want to look at you right now," she said,
I nodded, "Coo" was all I said before leaving.
