I was standing in front of Busta, who was observing my hair. "I like it better in a bun," she said to the lady that was doing my hair.
Busta smiled at me before dapping me up, "You look cute," she laughed,
I looked in the mirror at my all white tux, it was a perfect fit. I had just finished getting my hair done,
"You're nervous aren't you?" Busta said, fixing her tux while looking at herself in the mirror.
"Yeah" I admitted,
"Don't be. You're about to marry the girl of your dreams," she said,
I smiled at that before unbuttoning my Fendi blazer. "Nah B, keep that closed, you gotta look professional," she said,
"You weren't nervous when you and Niya got married?" I asked her,
"A lil bit.. But then I saw her and that took my mind off everything," she smiled,
"What if I'm not ready?" I said,
"You're ready. You're just nervous, trust me, when you see her all those emotions gon go away," she said.
The door opened and Niya walked in, dabbing at her eyes with a handkerchief. She pulled me into a hug before letting go and saying, "You look cute,"
I smiled, "Thank you,"
She turned to look at Busta who was smiling too.
"You're not gonna cry?" Niya asked her,
"I'll cry when Ray gets married," Busta said.
We laughed, mainly because we know Ray isn't ever getting married.
"I preciate everything y'all done for me. All the meals you cooked for me, the small talks and everything else," I said to Niya.
She pulled me into another hug and kissed my cheek, I turned my attention to Busta, who was smiling.
"You've been here when I needed to talk, given me a lot of advice, and showed me a lot of shit. I preciate everything you do for me too." I said,
"Are you gonna cry now?" Niya said to Busta. Busta wiped her eyes before pulling me into a bro hug.
"I got you through whatever," she said,
"Lemme take a picture, got my baby all emotional an shit," Niya laughed.
Busta let go of me and said, "You treat Desiree how I should've treated Niya from the beginning. If I could go back, I'd definitely change some shit," she said.
"Take a picture real quick" Niya said,
We took a couple pictures before hugging again, "I love you B," she said,
"I love you too," I responded.
Niya fanned her eyes, "That was so cute," she said.
"I can't wait until Ray gets married so I can do that with his wife," she said.
"You ready?" Busta asked me,
"Yeah, I'm ready,"
