Percy blinks up at Nico when they pull apart, Nico's arms are wound tightly around his waist and his wings curving around the two of them. Percy blushes and smiles, and Nico falls in love all over again.
"Percy, I made a bet with Leo after losing a game of Uno to make a human fall in love with me." Percy looks away, shifting slightly but Nico doesn't let go, "the terms of our meeting may have been because of a bet, but falling in love with you? Nothing in all my long years has ever been so real."
Percy's eyes are brimming with tears, the rain around them seems to fade into nothing almost as if it stopped altogether, the drops suspended in mid-air. Percy draws his arms around Nico's neck and pulls him down and kisses him softly, "I love you too, you twat."
"Besides," Percy sniggers, "it'll be one hell of a story to tell the grand-kids."
