"Ms. Matthews once again we are having a problem with your grades. You are failing English which is weird because you're spending so much time with Mrs. Hart your English teacher. I would let a student tutor you but because you're always around Mrs. Hart, I'm gonna let her tutor you." He said glancing over to Maya in the corner of the office. I mean 'Mrs. Hart'.

"We'll meet today and tomorrow. Until your grades go up."

But today is Friday and I had plans with Madison on Saturday. I replaced Alex with her for now because Alex is upset. Not in that way though. I have taken Mrs. Hart's advice and decided to stop leading girls on if I already have a crush.

"Don't I get a say in this?" I asked.

"No." They both said in unison.

Damn it.

"Ok so first thing before I take you to my house lets go to the library to get some books for English." Said Maya.

I groaned at this. "I've been waiting on you since 3:00 doing nothing but watching you mark and grade papers. Now you're saying we still can't leave?"

She crossed her arms and rolled her eyes at me. "Come on Riles let's just go to the library and get some books then leave."

"Riles?" I asked. Only my friends calls me that other than Missy she calls me honey cause of my tattoo.

"Too far? She asked. "You are my student."

"No it's fine." I shrugged. "Just as long as I could call you peaches."

"Outside of school you can." She said looking around to see if anyone was in the hall. "Yay. Now because you dragged me into this you must take me to the library by giving me a piggy back ride."

"Anything for you my queen."

"Yay!" I said and hopped on her back wrapping my arms around her neck. "Onward to squid wards house!"

"We're going to the library!" She said moving down the hall with me on her back. "Whatever, way to kill the mood Maya."

"This is boring!" I said in frustration flopping back down unto Maya's couch. "Oh come on Riles try for me." She looked at me with those baby blue eyes and I couldn't help but feel my heart flutter.

"Fine , later though. We've been at this for an hour."

"Ok, but what do you want to do during the spare time?"

"How about hmm.." I tapped my chin and clicked my tongue. "How about a secret for a secret?"

"You go first."

"Ok I've liked girls all my life but my parents doesn't even know."

"How have you kept your secret for so long? My parents found out when I was 15."

I raised my eyebrows at her. "You like girls? But you have a husband! Where is he anyway?"

Her smiled faded and she started biting her nails. "Um sorry about asking... What's your secret?"

"Um my secret is that I originally wanted to be an art teacher but was too scared that people would hate my work. So I settled for a substitute English teacher."

"Maya I'm sure your works are amazing."

"Thanks Honey."

"You're welcome Peaches."

Hey guys haven't done an authors note in like forever mostly because this book is already written without authors notes but if I could have told the future I would have put authors note on every chapter of this book. Anyway if you guys are interested in checking out my upcoming books just check out my bio I'm always updating it talking about my books and stuff. I'm putting up a coming soon book and a preview of it as soon as I finish shattered Silence. I think I'm gonna stop it at 12 chapters cause I'm over Love Me Already and stuff like that I want to move on to better things and new books! I really wanted to write this whole book just in case I had writers block while writing it because I want think book to maybe hit 20k after I hit 30 chapter or something. Maybe after its completed but I do want this book to reach 20k were soon to 1k and I hope you will join my journey into making it to that goal. I don't want to make a status book because I don't want to make it and then it only gets like 10 reads or no comments when I ask if you guys want this book or this book before the other book. I've already deleted my covershop twice cause no one was asking for covers. Seriously every time I get like 2 comments then everything goes dead like. 🌚

It's fine though everyone could just look at rowbrinaschild bomb cover shops reading list because those cover shops are better than mine

Anyway (I have been featured on that list before but I deleted the book anyway) there's a pic of Riley in the library but she isn't edited because I don't think she needed any for this pic. God this authors note is longer than the whole chapter. I'm gonna go and obsess over my fans and their books because all of my fans are amazing and I love supporting you guys even though I haven't even made it to 100 followers yet. Even one follower is better than having none and I'm grateful that I have 79 now. Hopefully we make it to 100 guys. But for now you know the drill
