Penny's POV
This was all so surreal, Bianca and I going shopping to some of the most swanky and most expensive boutiques.
The driver stopped in front of a very beautiful but small boutique. "This is where I was instructed to take you first."
We got out of the car and walked timidly into the boutique. A woman greeted us immediately.
"Mrs. Jenkins, you are even more lovely than your picture."
"Mrs. Jenkins?" I asked.
"Yes, your husband sent a picture and I sent him pictures of various dresses so that he could pick some for you to choose from. You're a lucky woman to have a husband that goes to such lengths to set up a special night like this when he's out of the country."
"Out of the country? " I babbled.
Bianca saved the day. "Mrs. Jenkins has missed her husband so much, she's just so blown away that he would plan this surprise for her."
I finally got it together. "You're right, I am a very lucky woman."
"My name is Athena and I have some beautiful gowns for you to choose from." Gowns? This time I managed to keep my mouth shut.
She had us both sit while she brought in each gown. I chose two to try on that I thought were simple yet elegant. The first was a beautiful very dark purple with a sheer beaded neckline. And the.other was black lace over light purple silk with straps that crossed in the back. Both would show my tattoos come to think of it. The dark purple was the winner and Athena already had the shoes and accessories to match. I got out the credit card Brian gave me, "That's not necessary Mrs. Jenkins, your husband has already paid for everything."
"But how did he know which one pay for?" Bianca asked.
"I'm not sure, he told me that would be the perfect one and that would be the one you would pick. He picked the jewelry and shoes to go with it."
I smiled, "I know how he did it." I heard his voice "I told you, Penelope, we're connected."
Brian had arranged for someone to pick up the gown and accessories so they would be at home waiting for me. We got back into the car and the driver said: "Where to next?"
"My friend needs something to wear when she goes out dancing with friends tonight."
"I know just the place." He said.
He did not steer us wrong, Bianca found the perfect outfit and I picked up some lingerie for later. I've never been much of a lingerie person, but Brian has brought out all new hidden parts of me.
We went to the spa and had the works. massage, nails, pedicure, and hair. I truly felt like a princess getting ready for a ball, to meet my handsome prince.
We got back to Brian's and he was nowhere to be found. The driver gave me a note from Brian.

My Dearest P,
I will be back soon to come to get you. Please get ready and wait in our bedroom until I return.
All my love, B

"What does it say?" Bianca asked.
The driver interrupted, "Miss Bianca, I have been instructed to take you to Mrs. Sanders' house. I will wait here while you prepare for your evening out."
Bianca got ready and then helped me put my gown on and touch up my make up.
"I'd better go before lurch comes up and gets me. You look beautiful."
"And you look Hot!" I said and Bianca left.
I heard some shuffling and whispering downstairs. Then it was very quiet and classical music began to play over the speakers all through the house.
Then there was a knock on the door. "Who is it?"
"It's your Prince."
"You may enter," I said in the most regal voice I could muster.
Brian opened the door, he was wearing a tuxedo. He was the most handsome man I had ever seen.

Brian's POV
I opened the door and she was breathtaking. I knew she would love that dress and I would love her in it.
I couldn't speak until Penny said.
"Hello, handsome Prince." She smiled and was even more beautiful. "Brian?"
"I'm sorry, I just can't take my eyes of off you. You are beautiful." I said still staring at her.
"I can't take my eyes off of you either." She said.
"Well, you are going to have to. I need you to shut your eyes and come with me."
She immediately shut her eyes and held out her hand.
I led her down the stairs and through the house to a gazebo surrounded by purple flowers. I had tried to keep her away from this part of the house ever since she arrived. I had twinkling purple lights put all around the gazebo. The walkway was framed in white lights with lights scattered through the flowers
"Open your eyes."
She opened her eyes and they twinkled brighter than all the lights.
"Brian, this is incredible, it's magical!"
"This is just the beginning," I said as I pulled out the chair for her at the table with an elegant dinner already ready on it.
