Patch's P.O.V.

"We're here, boss!" I hear Rocco say, quite excitedely I must say.

I nod and look towards Winny, who's rocking her brother to sleep. I smile to myself, that girlfriend of mine would pretty much be the perfect mother I guess.

Well not too soon I hope.

"We are? Great! I can't wait to see wherever we're staying." Winny says, in a hushed voice, as Jonas stirrs in his sleep.

I walk to her and see that we've landed and Winny's jaw drops. Yeah, I knew she'd react this way. My parent's beach house is huge, and I mean very huge.

It was passed down to me actually, in a way which I was never proud of. I may have all of this property, but hey I've never actually had a family.

"Hey, Patch? Patch!" I hear Winny call out to me and she giggles as she stares at my, dumb looking and startled face I guess.

I raise my brow at her and she gives me a confused look.

"I've been trying to get your attention for a few seconds now. I was just going to ask you if you wanted to walk down the boat with me, everyone left now I guess." She says and I nod, taking her out stretched hand, as she balances Jonas with her other arm.

I stop walking and stretch out my hands to tell her that I want to hold Jonas now. She sighs and hands me Jonas, as I carry him over my shoulder.

"Thanks." She mutters, as I hear Jonas yawn a bit and lean his head down on my shoulder.

I give him a little kiss on the head and we walk down the boat.

I guess the only family I've ever had was Jonas and Winny, well the lost boys too. It was as if I felt responsible not only for Winny, but Jonas too. Maybe it was just because he reminded me of someone.

Paul.

I shake the name out of my head and continue to walk with Winny side by side with Jonas on my shoulder.

Maybe it was time I told her.

. . .

"So you guys are sharing a room?" Teddy says, with a smirk.

I roll my eyes at him and shove him by the shoulder.

"Yeah, with Jonas of course." I tell him and he sighs, nodding.

Teddy then inches closer to me, whispering something.

"Well guess what? Jonas said he wanted to hang with the Lost Boys tonight. So, you and Winny have some... alone time. Wink wink." He says and I give him a look.

"Nah, with Jonas in the room or not, there'll be no funny business. I mean we've been sleeping in the same bed for weeks, and we've never.... we've never done it. She's just not ready for that kind of thing you know?" I tell Teddy and he gasps.

I mean I wasn't saying that I didn't want to do it with her, I just didn't think she'd be prepared for that kind of thing. She'd be paranoid and scared, I guess. Besides, we couldn't do that right now with the mess her brother did.

"Not ready for what thing?" I hear a high pitch voiced that I'd definitely recognize anywhere.

Oh fuck.

"Hey Winny, we were just talking about the room arrangements for tonight. I'm sure Patchy here will tell you all about it eventually." Teddy says, and gives me a brief tap on the chest before walking away.

Winny walks to me, a skeptical look on her face. She crosses her arms over her shoulders and I give her a nervous smile.

"So, I'd like to ask you if it's all right that we share a room and stu--"

"Ready for WHAT thing, Patch?" She repeats and I sigh.

Was she really not going to give this up?

"Umm, it's not a big deal. Teddy was just fooling around and made a joke that's all." I say and give her a reassuring smile.

She gives me a glare, obviously not buying it and sighs, rolling her eyes.

"If it isn't a big deal, then why are you hiding it from me? I'm not one of those dumb blondes from Neverland, Patch. I'm smarter than that." Winny says and rolls her eyes.

I let out a sigh and pull her close to me, giving her a kiss on the forehead.

"Birdy, I know you aren't. That's why I'm dating you." I tell her and she looks up at me, crossing her arms over her chest.

"So if I were dumb, you wouldn't date me at all?" She asks me and I shrug.

"Pretty much. I mean, would you date me if I was dumb? I wouldn't, but I guess the looks make up for that." I tell her and she lets out a laugh.

Our laughter dies down and she looks up at me seriously.

"What did Teddy say?" She asks me and I sigh.

She wasn't letting this go was she?

"He was just telling me that just because we're sharing a room, we'd.... get intimate." I tell her and she shrugs.

"Why we cuddle all the time? of course we'd get intimate." She tells me and I shake my head.

Winny's mind was as pure as a dove, a reason why I call her birdy.

"More intimate than that." I tell her and her eyes widen.

Oh no, now I've done it.

"Y-you mean sex?" She asks and looks as if she's freaking out.

Oh fuck. Is she going to have a nervous break down? We were on a fucking island. There isn't a hospital here!

I nod nervously at her and she shrugs.

"I guess." She says with a shrug and my eyes widen.

I guess what? What did she mean by I guess?!

"What do you mean?" I ask her and she looks at me with a nervous smile.

"Well, I guess I'm ready." She tells me and my heart beats faster.

Was she for real?

"You are? Look Birdy, I'm not trying to force you here. It would be painful, you sure you're ready? I'm not taking an I guess." I tell her and she nods.

She stands on her tip toes and gives me a long kiss. She pulls away and looks into my eyes, giving me a genuine smile.

"I'm ready Patch." She says and I nod, picking her up and running into the nearest room, locking the door behind me.

This was going to be the best vacation ever.
