Patch's P.O.V.

By the eagerness of her kiss, it was obvious she wanted to be with me too.

I heard a noise and saw that Jonas had walked out of his room.

"Did you kiss my sissy already?!" Jonas asks and Winny's eyes widen as she gets that that's what I whispered to him earlier.

I let out a laugh when she hits my chest playfully and giggles when I fake pain.

I nod at Jonas and he runs to me, swinging him up into my arms.

"Patchy! I missed you, Patchy! I haven't seen you in... in forever!" Jonas says and I laugh at how jumpy this kid was.

"Don't worry. I'll see you a lot more okay?" I assure him and he laughs in excitement, hugging me as I flash Winny a wink.

She stifles her giggle and I pull her close to me, planting a kiss on her lips behind Jonas.

"We're like a little family!" Jonas says and Winny freezes.

Was she uncomfortable with the thought of having a family? Well, I wasn't I could imagine her with me and my kids.

We'd live in the huge hide-out, and little Winnys would run around....

"Hey Patch, I asked if you wanted some chocolate?" Winny says and snaps her fingers infront of me, raising a chocolate bar to my face.

I nod and she smiles up at me, breaking a piece and placing it in between her lips.

I quickly take the piece she's balancing between her lips with mine and she gasps in surprise as I successfully take the piece, melting it in my mouth.

She hits me playfully on my bicep and takes another piece of chocolate, quickly shoving it into her mouth before I could take it again.

I laugh at her and we walk into Jonas' room to tuck him into bed.

"Goodnight, Jonas." I say and ruffle the top of his hair.

Winny laughs when Jonas giggles a bit and she kisses his nose, telling him to go sleep now.

He nods and rolls over to hug his teddy bear and falling asleep.

. . .

I watch everyone in the halls.

Their jaws drop as they see Winny and I walking down the halls. I smile down at her to see that she's really uncomfortable and forces a smile onto her face, looking up at me.

I sigh and frown at her, "It's fine if you didn't want to go public yet, Winny, but you should've told me before I grabbed your hand and proclaimed our relationship to everyone." I whisper and kiss the top of her head.

She shakes her head and takes both my hands, giving me a half smile.

"It isn't that, Patch. It's just that, do we have a relationship? I mean you haven't even asked me if I wanted to be... you know?" She says and stutters.

How could I forget about that?

I slap my forehead with my palm and shake my head, pointing at her.

"Right." I mutter and she sighs, placing a hand on my cheek.

She gives me a half smile and sighs.

"Look, Patch I don't want to go too fast and I don't know what you want, but don't worry about it okay? Think about it." She tells me, reaches up to kiss my cheek and walks away, probably going early to her next class.

Idiot, what the hell was I thinking? I didn't even ask her to be my girlfriend.

Think, Peters. You have to think.

Winny's P.O.V.

Patch didn't ask me about any kind of relationship.

All we established yesterday was that he wanted to be with me and I wanted to be with him, that's all.

There was never a "Hey Winny, do you want to be my girlfriend?"

Well I guess that the fact that he wanted to be with me is considered I guess.

I shouldn't have over reacted like I did, earlier. I mean all we've been doing is fighting and I've caused another thing to worry about.

I walk to the cafeteria and notice that Patch wasn't early as he always was. His friends weren't there either.

I frown and walk over to Nan instead. She waves at me and I sit next to her, giving her a short smile.

I don't think she's forgotton yesterday yet.

"Look, Winny. I should've been more careful with you. I mean you are new, and as I saw earlier, you're busy thinking about your new....man candy." Nan says and looks away in disgust.

What's wrong with Patch anyway?

"I heard that he gang fights!" I hear Mirna, one of the people at the table say.

People at our table begin to gasp and I roll my eyes. Were they serious right now?

Right infront of me?

I bring out my phone and quickly click on Patch's number, giving him a text.

Where are you? Did you skip again?

I sigh when he doesn't answer quickly and I see Mirna, eyeing my phone.

"Are you talking to the new boy toy?" Mirna asks and snickers at her own statement, making people laugh too.

Nan stares at me apologetically and glares at Mirna, practically telling Mirna with her eyes to shut up.

"No, I'm talking to Patch." I tell her and she snickers at what I said, rolling her eyes.

She looks at everyone beside her, even Nan.

"What's the difference, smarty pants?" She asks me and I straighten up.

"Well Patch isn't a boy toy. He's my boyfriend." I tell them and bolt up from my seat.

I've had enough of this.

Meet me at this address:

615 Evening star street

"I don't think I'm welcomed here, so I think I'll go." I say and stand up from my seat, walking away.

I hear Mirna cackle and a quickly, a tap on my shoulder.

"Goodluck with your thug!" Mirna says, laughing along with her friends and that makes me stop in my steps.

Th-thug? She could've called him a plaything, boy toy , and told everyone at the table about his secret fighting.

She will not call Patch a thug!

Patch's friends bullied me, drugging me, picking on me and physically abusing me, but right now I'll be doing one thing Patch didn't do.

Fight.

I walked up to Mirna and punched her straight in the face, and she gasps as blood gushes out of her nose.

"Wow the gang fighter taught you well." Mirna says and tackles me to the ground, pulling my hair.

I grow angrier and punch her again in the face, rolling over her to bruise her with several punches.

"Girls! Stop it, the principal might see!" Nan says and is interrupted suddenly.

I hear footsteps nearing us and swallow when I see what I've done.

Mirna's face is bruised and all. There's blood everywhere and a black eye on her left eye.

I'm a monster.

"Darcy, Manroe. Meet me at my office, now!" Principal D says and I sigh, immedatiely following him to his office.

This was never meant to happen, but why did it?
