Winny's P.O.V.

Okay, India thought that Jonas was my son and that Patch was the father of both our children.

No wonder she stared at me sympathetically the whole night. She thought that I was a teen mom.

Well she's still thinking that I am, because Patch begged me to play along for fun. Jonas was also absentmindedly playing along too. He actually called Patch his daddy.

"What were you going to say before I got the door, dear? I almost forgot to ask you. I'm sure your version of the story would be nice to hear." India says and Mike looks up from his mash potatoes and at India, giving her a smile.

He nodded and reached for the napkin on his table, wiping his mouth with it. He sighed and looked at her again.

"Umm, yeah. I was just about to say that the credit shouldn't be given to me. Patch here, did all the saving. You should be thanking him. Lily made it seem as if I was the hero of the story, which is a shame since you invited me over to dinner for that." Mike says, his cheeks turning red and I see that Lily stares at him, with a frown.

She offers her hand to him and he takes it, giving it a little squeeze.

"Oh really? I guess Lily did make you seem like the ever so daring hero who saved our little girl. I'm glad you told me the truth and now we can thank Patch too." India says and her husband nods along with her.

Andy raises his glass towards Patch and Patch nods at him, raising his glass up for a moment too.

"You know I used to think you'd be together with my daughter someday, but I see now that that can never happen. I see that you are quite inlove." Andy says and raises his glass towards me.

I instantly look away, turning red because of what Andy said. Well Patch had told me he loved me a couple of times, but was it very obvious that he did? I could see now that Patch does love me, because everyone had already noticed how he had fallen for me, I was just to blind not to notice it earlier.

I guess I was bad at reading people.

I feel Patch wrap his arms around me and pull me closer. He places a kiss on my forehead and pulls away, looking towards Andy again.

"You're right sir. I'm never going to let this birdy go. She's a keeper." He tells Andy and Andy smiles at the both of us.

I turn red and see that Belle rolls her eyes, getting up and taking her slice of cake with her.

"I'm tired. I'm working the afternoon shift tomorrow. I'm heading upstairs." Belle says and her parents nod before she takes off.

I stare up at Patch and see that he didn't care at all that his former best friend had bolted up and left. A lot had happened between Belle and Patch when I came into their lives.

I hated this guilty feeling within me.

"You need to talk to her. I'm no friend of Belle's and I know that I'm bad at reading people, but she's your bestfriend. Don't you still care about her? " I tell him silently and he stops eating to look at me.

He looks at the path where Belle had walked to and he shrugs his shoulders, continuing to eat.

What the hell?!

"She isn't worth it, Winny. I've got you now. I love you and if Belle hurts the people that I love, then I could never forgive such a person." Patch says and I sigh.

Wow, their relationship has changed a lot. I needed to fix this.

I stand up and adjust my dress, "Umm, India, Andy. Can I be excused for a minute or two?" I ask them and Patch looks at me questioningly.
