"Oh umm, here's your dye you didn't know what happened out there. So be thankful!" I told him and he let out a laugh with a confused look.

He took the dye from me and stared at me.

"What did happen out there?" He asked and I sighed.

The story came back to me and I never felt so angry in my life.

"The cashier called me an idiot because a brunette walked in, buying brown hair dye for herself." I told him and he glanced at the dye and at my hair before he laughed out loud.

He cluched his stomach and looked back at my hair before he let out another laugh.

"Oh yes, but of course!" He said and nodded at me.

I rolled my eyes and sighed, preparing to tell him what I thought of earlier.

"You weren't going to keep your promise weren't you? I mean about helping me live a little." I told him and he looked confused.

See he already forgot about it.

"The deal is on Birdy, ever since you let me stay last night. I'm going to fulfill the promise. What made you think it was off?" He asked and I shook my head, taking a step back from him a bit.

I should really tell him about not going on with it. The closer I was to this guy, the more danger my family and I would be. What would the cops think when they'll find out I helped a criminal escape?!

"Look Patch, I appreciate you helping me live a little but I just can't. You've got to be on your way and I have to keep Jonas safe." I told him and he looked at me with disbelief.

He rolled his eyes and gripped the hair dye in his hand.

"You know you're really judgemental for a girl that barely knows me. I mean don't you see, Jonas actually likes me! If a small kid likes me, then how bad could I be. Oh yeah don't worry, I'll leave as soon as my bestfriend comes to get me." He said and charged straight to the bathroom.

Well I did feel a bit bad about judging him so quickly. I mean he did murder someone. What if we were his next victims?

I sighed and saw Jonas running around with Mike in the living room. They looked so happy, and I'd like to keep them safe too.

I shouldn't care about how I judged a criminal, keeping my family safe was much more important.

"Hey Winny, thanks for asking Patch for help. Jonas told me he went in the middle of the night to play with him? That's really kind of him to abandon all plans and help you take care of Jonas. I'd say he's a keeper." Mike told me and adjusted Jonas on his hip.

Did Mike have a random intention in making me feel so guilty? I've told too many lies. I felt as if I was about to explode any moment.

"Yeah, it's fine. Patch has to move to- to Australia next year though. It's too bad." I told him and Mike suddenly frowned.

"Well tell him I said thank you all right?" He asked and Jonas looked sleepy already.

Mike walked to Jonas' room and I walked back to mine. Patch was taking ages it seemed like he already escaped through the bathroom window.

I walked back to check on him when the doorbell rang. I walked to the door and the person behind it was impatiently knocking.

I rolled my eyes and oppened it before I gasped in horror.

"What are you doing at my house?!" I screamed before slamming the door back in the person's face.

As soon as Patch was back from the bathroom he better explain all of this.

And then I was going to kill him.
