"_____, please be careful!" Tino pleaded, opening the front door for you. You smiled and laughed, wrapping your (f/c) scarf around your neck.
You were making a quick trip to the store to buy some thing's Tino had forgotten. He blamed it on you for 'distracting' him by not keeping your hands to yourself.
Well, you had to admit, it's kind of hard to keep your hands to yourself around your Finnish boyfriend.

"I'll be fine Tino. The least I'll be gone is thirty minutes, a hour at the most. " You said, reaching in your pocket to pull out your car keys.
With a convincing smile, you walked up to Tino, bending down to place a gentle kiss on his forehead.
This made him blush, making you laugh as you ruffled his blondish colored hair. With a grin you stepped outside, noticing that it was snowing.

The shorter male glomped you, hugging you tightly. "Please be careful..." He whispered, the plea muffled by your (f/c) coat. You chuckled, returning the hug before you stepped back.
"I will, I promise." You stated, flashing him a confident smile. Tino couldn't help but smile as well.

After saying your good-byes and a couple more of pleas for you to stay home, you left. Walking down the lightly snow covered steps, you went to your car.
Getting in quickly to avoid getting colder, you stuck the keys in the ignition and started it. After turning the heat on and buckling your seat belt, you slowly backed out of the drive way.
Giving a small wave and smile to Tino, you drove off. Not seeing the worried expression of your Finnish boyfriend.

Gently drumming your fingers on the steering wheel, you sang (f/song) at the top of your lungs. You knew that if Tino was there, he would change the station. You smiled faintly at the thought, wishing he were with you.

But the smile soon faded when your car began to slid, the snow hiding the think ice you were driving on.
You tried to regain control, but the car flipped. The windshield shattering and showering you with glass, cutting your face, arms, and hands.
The car spined and twisted over and over on itself, your head slamming hard into the window. Everything quickly turning black.

~ With Tino ~

Tino's violet colored orbs flickered to the clock again, becoming uneasy. 'It's almost been a hour...' He thought chewing on his bottom lip, fidgeting in his spot on the couch. With a small sigh, he stood up.
Shuffling to the window, he noticed the snow was falling heavier now. Making a small noise of worry left his lips, turning from the window and walking to the kitchen.

Grabbing a sugar cookie he had baked earlier today, he slowly nibbled on it. The house was quiet, the only thing being heard was the sound of the clock in the kitchen ticking by.
Tino sighed, shoving the rest of the sugary food in his mouth before turning to go back to the living room. Maybe some TV will work.

Sitting down and grabbing the remote, he turned the television on, flipping through the channels until something caught his interest.
That's when the phone rang, scaring the blonde Finn half to death. Clutching a hand over his heart, he reached over and grabbed the phone off the receiver.

"Hello?" He asked, silently praying that it was _____ to tell him he was on his way home. But his hopes were gone when the person spoke, clearly not _____.
"Yes, is this Mr. Vainamainen?" Someone asked, sounding like a woman, making Tino raise an eyebrow. "Yes...?" He slowly answered, slowly standing up.

"And do you know anyone by the name of _____ _____?" She asked, making Tino freeze to the spot.

"Y-yes. Why, is there something wrong?" He asked, feeling himself begin to panic. He heard the woman sigh, followed by some incoherent words.

"I'm sorry to tell you this Mr. Vainamainen, but, _____ was in a car accident earlier tonight. He's in critical condition, we don't know if he'll make it. I'm so sorry Mr. Vainamainen..." The woman said, her voice filled with sadness and grief.
Tino felt his heart stop. _____ was in an... Accident? No, no he couldn't have! Not _____, not _____! He couldn't have!

He felt tears well up in his eye's, the phone slipping from his hand and crashing to the floor. Successfully breaking it.
"_____..... _____.... _____!" He yelled, falling to his knees, beginning to sob uncontrollably. "You promised you would be carful, you promised!" He cried between sobs, curling up into the fetal position.

~ 1 year Time skip ~

"_____, I'm home!" You heard Tino call from downstairs, a smile appearing on your face as you turned the volume down on the TV. You stood and felt your way to the stairs, descending them as fast as you could.
"How was work?" You asked as you counted the stairs on your way, something you'd figured out after falling down them three times. Footsteps echoed as you heard him turn the corner towards you.

"_____! How many times do I have to tell you not to walk down the steps by yourself?!" Tink fretted, grabbing your hand and helping you down the rest of the stairs. You couldn't help but smile and laugh at the Finnish males protective nature.

It's been over a year since the accident you had. After the hospital called Tino that night, he quickly called Berwald and asked him to drive him to the hospital.
When he arrived, he was took to your room were you laid unconscious in the bed. The nurse said it would be a while before you woke, Tino stayed by your side and waited for you to wake up.

A few hours later you woke. But you couldn't see anything. The doctors informed you that your optic nerves were severely damaged, and that you would be permanently blind.
Tino blamed himself continuously, saying that it was his fault for letting you go out in the snow. That if he wouldn't have forgotten the things, this wouldn't have happened. But you told him it wasn't his fault, none of it was.

Tino lead you to the couch, lecturing you on how you should ask for help and all that nonsense. Behind his back, you mouthed them. You'd heard the lecture enough to have it memorized.
You felt Tino sit down, tugging your hand for you to do so too. You sat down, Tino's hand tightly holding yours.

With your free hand, you reached up, feeling Tino's features. Round childish face, chubby cheeks, smooth skin and soft lips.
You chuckled at the last one, running your thumb over his bottom lip multiple times. You felt your hands begin to burn as Tino blushed.

"_____, s-stop...!" He stuttered, pushing your hands away gently. You gave a bright smile, not seeing him to smile as well.
You found his hand and too it in yours, bring in it to your lips to kiss the back of it. Tino squeaked in embarrassment.

You chuckled, pulling on his hand to pull him into your lap. Tino tensing up in surprise. Wrapping your arms around his waist, you rested your head on his shoulder. Tino slowly relaxed, placing his hands atop of yours.
"You know that I love you right? What happened, doesn't change how much I love you..." You murmured, feeling Tino look away.

"I know, but it's my fault that you're-!" Tino's sentence was ended abruptly, you quickly turning him around. Hands clamped on his arms, keeping him in place. Your lips smashed into his, both passion and anger mixed in it. You suddenly pulled away.

"Don't you dare finish that sentence Tino! It's not your fault, you had no idea what was going to happen. Now stop blaming yourself!" You yelled slightly angered, surprising the blonde haired male.
Tino was silent, making you think you upset him. But when you felt a soft pair of lips touch yours, it told you differently.

It was short and brief, Tino quickly pulling away to hide his face in your chest. You chuckled, running a hand through his soft, blonde hair.
"I love you Tino..." You whispered, kissing his temple. You felt him smile as he hugged you tightly.
"I love you too _____..."

Finally, I'm able to hide in my room. A day full of annoying siblings and crazy relatives is way too much for me. Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
