So I took a shower and I washed my hair bc it was getting a little frizzy and old. So I had a thought.
Why are black girls so ashamed of their real hair? There's nothing real wrong with it, I mean its just extra curly and thick.
I mean for real. I used to resent my natural, even going as far as to straitened my edges with a flat iron turned up to 490 degrees last year. I messed up some parts of my hand from sticking my hand in between the heated pads to see if it was hot.
Yeahhhhh....
I still feel a bit self conscious with it, but I wanted to know why. Y'all know what to do: got a comment or opinion, hit me up!
Kk, catch ya later😉~thebiterphobia
