Part 50: More set up

A/N: This is going to be setting up more arcs for everyone else.

Savanna was training her Sceptile and Silvally, when.

"Hey Savanna Drew's here!" May called out, Savanna grunted and walked off, her Pokemon followed.

"Oh it's you again Salad head." Savanna said.

"Shut up." Drew rolled his eyes, glaring.

"Anyway what are you doing here?" Savanna said, trying to hold in the anger in her voice 

"Well I just came here to you know visit." Drew said, chuckling.

[Timeskip] 

Everyone was eating, everyone had their Pokemon out.

"So Drew where are you going to after this?" Brock asked.

"I'm going to Johto for the Pokemon contests there." Drew said.

Savanna watched on.

"Johto has a contest circuit?" Ritchie asked.

"Yeah they just put it in." Drew said.

"I'm going there!" May said.

Everyone looked at May.

Savanna just kept her feelings inside.

Savanna always was a bit protective of May.

"Are you sure you could do it alone?" Drew taunted.

"Yes I can! You will see." May said.

Savanna was quiet.

[Pokespeech]

"I can't believe it May is going to some place called Johto." May's Combuskien said.

"Yeah it's kinda crazy." Savanna's Dragonair said.

"Well sometimes we gotta go on our own path in life." Savanna's Sceptile, crossing her arms and leaning against a tree.

Savanna's Espeon looked at Savanna.

"It seems Savanna is conflicted about it." Savanna's Espeon said.

"What do you mean?" Savanna's Pikachu asked.

"You can tell from her facial expression." Savanna's Espeon said, as all of Savanna's Pokemon looked at Savanna.

[Human speech]

Savanna was quiet while everyone was supporting May etc etc.

Savanna clenched her fist.

Savanna didn't want May to go at all especially alone. They thought they would stay together but I guess things changed.

Savanna got up and walked off.

"Savanna?" May ran off.

Savanna's Espeon ran and followed.

[Meanwhile.]

Savanna's eyes glowed red from anger, But she just shook it off.

Savanna sat down near a lake.

May then showed up and sat beside Savanna.

Espeon then came and sat beside Savanna too.

"Savanna what's wrong?" May asked.

Savanna just grunted.

"Come on Savanna. Please tell me what's wrong." May pleaded.

Savanna took a deep breath.

"I'm just scared.... I don't want you to get hurt travelling all by yourself...." Savanna said.

"Savanna. I promise that I will be fine. I can take care of myself." May said.

Savanna smiled slightly.

Savanna decided to give May a hug. Savanna was never the affectionate person but she decided.

Savanna hugged May tightly but it was kind of weird because Savanna never really gave anyone a hug before.

May slowly hugged Savanna back.

Both of childhood friends sat there in each other's embrace.

"Good luck on your Johto journey.... Always call me if you need anything or any help. I will always be there." Savanna said, teared up a bit.

"I'm going to miss you Savanna... Good luck in Sinnoh." May said.

Savanna nodded and smiled and both girls let go, while smiling.

"Are you travelling with anyone or planning to in Sinnoh?" May asked.

"Mainly just Ritchie." Savanna said.

"So I assume he wants to be with you?' May asked.

"Y-yeah I guess." Savanna stuttered.

"I think Ritchie might have a crush on you." May said, grinning proudly.

"Uh what?!" Savanna asked.

"Nothing! Now come on let's go!" May said, running off.

Savanna followed, Espeon giggled and followed as well.

Savanna rolled her eyes.

A/N: Yeah all these chapters are just going to be set ups for when the characters leave. Next one is probably Savanna and Ritchie! Spoiler alert They are travelling together during Sinnoh. Honestly I wanted to make the travelling group less shorter. Ash is still travelling with Dawn and Brock! But not with Savanna and Ritchie.. also yeah . Savanna's travelling group Will have one more person but I shall not spoiler who they are and if you already know don't spoiler it! Anyway, this is getting too long. Read and review!
