Chapter 110 - Meet the Top Dog

"And that's how you do it! This little babe is what we call the Traitor Breaker, a cannon capable of firing a huge dose of kinetic energy that once on impact, can obliterate a very small town, and thus, eliminate the very small foes we got. Is it ready?" Diego explains as he glances at an unseen individual, and after a moment of silence, Diego smiles back and turns back to the camera. "Well it is, get ready my dudes, this is gonna be a doozy one!" 

With that, the scene cuts right to the moment the railgun fires at a zone outside the Evolved Zone which contains the downtown, the projectile being fired at such tremendous speed that it even makes the room shake for a bit including the windows inside the command post. A few seconds after that, a big puff of smoke appears in the distance outside the wall, far bigger than anticipated. With that, Diego and his two ladies cheer loudly at the display of power shown by the railgun. 

"See? Told ya it would work well, especially with me!" Diego proclaims as Laurie hugs his left arm tightly while grinning at him. 

"Yeah, you really are the one who can make everything work and turn into gold like a Midas touch!" Laurie says while trying to grin as wide as she can try, to which Diego merely replies by smiling back at her and kissing her forehead. 

"Damn right I am, babe." Right after that, the scene cuts back to the interior of the building, with Diego now standing near the battlesuits in line while some faint breathing is heard from the cameraman as he films Diego displaying them. 

"And what's next, oh D.D?" Katy asks while holding Diego's other arm with a wide grin on her face. At least one that she can muster as much as she could. 

"Now we're onto the precious suits of armor, one provided by the most unexpected of allies... China!" Diego says as the screen then filters by showing flags of China around the suits alongside the Zlocan one, as if to emphasize the point of the origin of the battle armors and where they came from as a gong is played in the background. 

"Yeah. It can fit even the most muscular of dudes around here, and the weaponry can be customized as much as you like as long it carries the firepower to clear up the scum on the Earth!" Diego then points at a Zlocan officer who glances at them as he approaches the officer with the two women, and pats the officer on the shoulder, while the officer barely reacts to the gesture. 

"Are you asking for a test for the Fexosons or something?" the male officer asks with a curt tone, ignoring Diego's wide smile. 

"Oh, I thought you'd never ask, bud, that's what we need!" It's then followed by a slideshow of photos of the battle suits operating in different capacities, including flamethrowers, missile pods in the back, chainsaw blades in the arms, and so forth, all while Diego and the two ladies posed with silly faces with those demonstrations at each one. It cuts back into motion while some other machines enter to pick up some of the dust and rubble left by the effects of the weapons. 

And Diego and his two ladies keep the same grins and cheers as usual over the latest displays of Zlocan machinery around them. 

"You're as awesome as always, D.D!" Laurie says while kissing Diego on the cheek as fast as she can. 

"Yeah, baby, I pretty much am. However, like every war, there always needs to be the lone warrior who must take a stand in the name of what the righteous stand for, and that would be the latest of Zlocan-manufactured blades!"  Diego says as it then cuts to him holding the aforementioned blade in a fencing stance, all while the two ladies observe him in awe. "The finest blade once used by Zlocan nobles, now used by a Human noble here right now!" 

It then cuts to a scene of specialized training drones hovering around Diego in circles, likely in anticipation of a strike. After a moment of silence, a drone tries to fly toward him, only for Diego to slash it in half with a quick reflex of his arm, then the process repeats the same for the other three drones. The results make the two women cheer loudly while the Zlocan officers stare at him over a simple practice display. All while trumpet and clapping sound effects are applied to the scene as well.
