I could feel the air on my face. The sky was clear and blue and the sun was shining down on me. Time seemed to stand still in a dream-like quality that could last forever. I wished that it could, as the warm breeze flowed over my body, and made my clothes fly gently in the wind. The warmness and happiness of my surroundings was rubbing off on me as I smiled. It was too good to be true...and I was right.

Suddenly, and without warning, the atmosphere changed. The clear blue sky became grey, and covered with clouds. I could hear shallow, raspy breathing as well as my own. I wasn’t alone. The wind started up in a howling storm, and my hair flew wild around my face. It was as if the weather reflected the mood. The warmth and happiness crept away slowly, leaving only a chill in the air.

I turned around slowly. I saw only a cloaked figure. He held his hand out to me, as if he wanted me to take it. I felt unsure. As if reading my thoughts, a soft, sweet, seductive voice floated through the air.

“Take it...Take my offer. You will be better off here with me...If you take it, I’ll help you.” The voice floated through the air. As if in a trance, I walked slowly toward the figure. When I reached him, he extended his fingers slowly towards me.

As I was about to take his hand, a gust of wind blew through the air, blowing his hood away from his face. I drew my hand back quickly. The man had an eye patch, and tousled brown hair that had grown shaggy. Despite the appearance, I knew the Doctor when I saw him. I cried out and pushed him with all my strength. He grabbed my arm and brought me towards him.

“Now now” he whispered. “It seems as though my cover has been blown. Let that not stop you though. You are MINE, and will come with me...”

He was cut off as I bolted awake. I could feel my heart in my chest, and could only keep myself from having a heart attack. It took me a second to adjust. That’s right... I thought. I fell asleep after Cecil and I brought Grey home... I sighed. The doctor was forever destined to haunt me...or was he? I could feel my blood boil. He considered me his possession...his toy. It made me sick. I did NOT belong to anyone, least of all him!

A single thought swirled along in my head. I wanted to deny it entrance to my main thoughts, but just couldn’t shake it. As I sat in the dark room, I felt my anger and pain form into an idea. I grabbed my clothes, and quickly stretched. I grabbed my gun and strapped it to my leg, making sure I had it this time. I just needed to-I stopped. Footsteps were echoing down the hallway. I slipped back into bed. The door opened as Cecil walked in.

“Grace...” he said. “Are you okay?”

I nodded slowly.

“No need to check up on me Cecil...” I said. “You should be sleeping!” He smiled.

“Then I’ll see you in the morning!” he said, walking out.

Morning...that would be nice Cecil; but I can’t. I waited until he was gone, and opened my window, just enough to allow me to get through. I placed one foot out the window, and heard the door open.

“What ya doin’ Grace?” a voice said. I turned to the door, where a very tired Grey was standing, watching my escape.
