Author's POV:

Dal smiles smugly to himself as he steps off the elevator and walks down the hallway toward Hoseok's apartment, knowing he will more than likely have an eventful evening once he walks inside. His boyfriend has a tendency to be overdramatic when he's afraid of something, and their phone call earlier was no exception to that.

Dal suggested that Hoseok post a regular photo of the two of them on his Instagr*m account instead of a romantic pose. He only offered the idea for Hoseok's sake because he knows that while real ARMY will love and support him no matter what, he also knows that coming out officially to the world will be difficult for many in the fandom to hear. In his mind, Dal thinks that the picture should just be a normal photo to soften the inevitable blow. Hoseok, unfortunately, has a tendency to overthink based on his past relationship trauma and has taken Dal's idea the complete wrong way.

Out of respect for Hoseok's fears and past hurt, Dal let him have his angry moment. He knows in his heart that it has nothing to do with him and everything to do with his issues with his ex. Of course Dal wasn't having second thoughts about Hoseok; he loves him and was happy that they are finally at a place where they can tell the world about their relationship. But because Hoseok's inner voice is sometimes his own worst enemy, he yelled at him over the suggestion before hanging up. No matter though; Dal is ready for any kind of attitude Hoseok throws at him because he knows just how to handle him when he acts like a brat.

This is going to be fun.

Dal enters the code on the keypad of Hoseok's apartment and it chirps before he hears the door lock flick open. "Hoseok? Are you here?" he calls out as he walks inside, slipping out of his shoes and sliding into his favorite pair of slippers that he always leaves here. He already knows full well that Hoesok is home and has probably been stewing over their 'argument' since he hung up on him. He's probably even still a little angry and will begin to yell at him again.
