You smooth your hand over the backside of your tan ruched mini dress, trying to focus on anything that's not related to Kim Seokjin. The dress has a high neckline and the fabric runs all the way to your wrists, the hem of the dress ending halfway down your thigh. You've paired the outfit with some white pumps and a white puffy winter coat, but you're not feeling very pretty.
After leaving your apartment you dove headfirst into your work and successfully avoided reality for a few hours, but when you finally went back up to your apartment, Seokjin was gone. No calls, no texts, no note.
Physically you look incredible. You obviously couldn't get Seokjin to call Hana so Jungkook called his makeup artist over. Honestly, Ana is probably just as good as their makeup artists but their makeup is slightly higher quality and is made to withstand sweat. You're not entirely sure where you're going but if there's a dance floor, you know you'll sweat and cannot risk showing your bruises in public.
Your skin is actually getting used to Seokjin's fingers though, the purple is much lighter than when you two first started.
But on the inside you feel like dog shit. Of course you'd rather be going with Seokjin, and you've considered bailing one hundred times. You do agree that where the both of you are at in your relationship, it's not a good idea to go out clubbing without each other. But it's not that Seokjin can't join you, he's just being an ass and refusing to go with you, and you find it ridiculous that you should have to give up a fun night with your friends just because he doesn't like to go out.
"You ready?" Hoseok smiles, handing you your jacket.
"I guess," you mumble, looking down at the ground.
"Forget about him," Jungkook frowns, taking your coat from Hobi and wrapping it around your shoulders. The two of them came to hangout while you got ready, knowing you probably needed a good distraction. "Hyung is being a dick, just go out and have fun without him."
"I agree," Hobi nods, putting his hand on your shoulder. "You know I usually like to try and keep the peace but I'm angry he spoke to you like that. Not even trying to compromise."
"I'm fine," you murmur, slipping your shoes on. "Let's just go." You don't plan to be a sourpuss the entire time — hopefully after a few drinks you'll be able to relax and enjoy your time.
The three of you head down to meet Ana, Tae, Jimin, Sena, Dal, and Chaewon.
"Hey [Y/N]!" Chaewon grins, throwing her arms around you. "Thanks so much for inviting me!"
She actually looks great tonight. Looks like Ana brought her over early and did her hair and makeup. Her long brown hair is curled and loosely falling over her shoulders, and Ana applied her concealer and foundation flawlessly. Chae struggles with acne but you can't see one blemish right now. Her normally droopy eyes are accentuated with a bit of black eyeliner, giving them a more almond shape. She's dressed in an adorable baby blue romper that extends all the way to her white boots.
"You look beautiful, love," Ana smiles, wrapping you into a hug next.
"You as well," you grin. As usual your best friend looks flawless. Her normal silky and pin straight hair is up in a messy bun with loose curls falling down, and she's sporting a black spaghetti strap mini dress that hugs around her perfect curves, ending three quarters of the way up her thigh with ruffles.
