Yes, Alex has a police officer under commission because whenever Ian was unavailable, the officer was around, taking care of me. At first, I thought it was ridiculous but after a while of having him around, it wasn't bad.

The officer's name was Jo, which was a shortened version of Joseph. Jo was a white handsome man with deep red hair. Next to him, I felt like dwarf because of his height. With Ian and the others, I was near their shoulder. Jo, on the other hand, was different. With him, I was fortunate enough to reach his chest. When Jo and I were alone once, I learnt he was a husband and a father of one. He started telling me about his wife who - according to him - was the prettiest woman in the world. He'd met her at his mother's funeral when he was about sixteen. His wife was the sole reason he didn't rebel and he kept him under control. At the age of 21, he proposed to her. After about a year or two, his wife fell pregnant and gave birth to their little girl, Martha who was born about a month ago. With a little begging, he said I could visit his wife and daughter.

I smile, thinking about our conversation together. Jo was the first person I started opening to without hesitating. I spoke about what happened 3 years ago with Andre, Logan, and the challenge.

I remember his words, 'Tia. You and Logan are ridiculous because the outcome of the challenge is unpredictable. You'll either fall in love with him, or he'll fall. Either one will be in pain, therefore making the challenge stupid. I know experimenting is fun and games but trust me, there's nothing wrong with commitment. Remember Tia, not everyone is like Andre.'

"Yes?" I ask, after hearing someone knock on the door.

Ian started walking closer, "You look beautiful." He said, pressing his lips against mine for a minute or two, before straightening himself.

I giggle. "Ian. I'm wearing a uniform." I muse.

Standing on the right leg, I lean onto Ian for further support. A little while later - after a struggle - Ian took a step backward when I was stable.

"We better leave before we're late"

10:12 AM

Reading the time on the red rectangular clock, I smile. "I can't wait until class is over" I murmur.

I was itching to run - correction, limp - from the classroom and into the college's toilet. The reason? The silence in the classroom was unbearable. The reason? In cooking class, our original teacher wasn't at the college, therefore we have a substitute.

The WMC's librarian, Mrs Boggs.

Mrs Boggs, she was a short female, white hair, in her mid fifties. Remember the movie Monster Inc? Trust me, if  Randall and Roz were together, Mrs Boggs would be their child.

'I'm watching you Wazoski, always watching' At the thought, I giggle.

"Miss Frederick, I remember telling the class to be quiet" She said, irritation audible in her voice.

"I apologize, Mrs Boggs." I mumble, giving her a apologetic smile.

"Imagine, I'm watching you Frederick, always watching." Ian whispered, chuckling.

It was our inside joke from the beginning.

Out of the blue, the silence was interrupted when a nervous Matt ran through the classroom door. Panic, was written across his sweet face. "T-Tia, Ian. Lachlan and Terry are in a fight." He breathe, in a serious manner. "I-I don't mean an argument, it's fist fight."
