As soon as those words left her mouth, I jolted off the couch and started jumping up and down in joy

"Jjangkkaman, are you serious unnie? Are you really my close observer??" I asked, just to make sure I heard it right.

"No." She answered with an expression that screams boredom

Just when I thought something nice happened for once..

I brought down my shoulders and sat back down again.

"So you're not?" I frowned

"I am, I was just kidding" she chuckled. Ugh, I can't with this right now. I literally just woke up!!

"Yaah!! Unnie, it's not funny!!!" I whined

"Stop overreacting I was just trying to wake your nerves, you look tired." She shrugged and bit the inside of her lip

I stared at her and pouted, giving her the cutest puppy eyes I can display

We made eye contact. She quirked her eyebrow and made a weirded out face

"What are you doing?" She asked in confusion.

"Unnie~" I whined as if asking her if she was serious about what she said

"What? Stop doing that, you don't look cute." She demanded

"Aish, you sound like ryuddaeng, the only difference is that she meant it in a joking manner" I rolled my eyes

She sighed and looked down on the table with papers

"But in all seriousness unnie, are you really my close observer? Did God agree with it???" I asked, curiosity written all over my face.

"Yes. It took a little bit of convincing but I managed to make him agree." She confirmed and my smile grew bigger and bigger with every word she said

"Waah.. I can't believe it." I mumbled, my smile never fading

"Thank you, unnie" I stood up and went to her before embracing her with the tightest hug

She reciprocated it and rubbed my back

"You're welcome yeji." She smiled when we separated the hug

"Alright, so I guess you already know what we're about to do right?" She asked and I nodded

I went back to my seat and paid attention to what she said

"Okay, I'll ask you a few questions and then answer them as honestly as possible, got it?"

"Got it." I asnwered

Just like what she explained, she asked me about 10-15 questions regarding basic information about myself and a little bit of my background story.

After that, we, well mostly me, talked about anything, like my thoughts and feelings. Some of the thrown questions were kinda hard to answer but I managed to answer it as truthfully as I could.

The session finished at about 4 hours later which was surprising since I thought it had only been a couple of minutes

It wasn't as scary as I expected it to be. In fact, I kinda enjoyed this interrogation thing. I'm pretty sure it's because of irene unnie that made it enjoyable, because she made sure that I was comfortable and that I wasn't bored.

She would ask me every once in a while if I was okay or if I was still catching up- because I spaced out a lot in the process of her asking the questions- but, honestly, I think I pretty much aced my first session with irene unnie. I wouldn't have done it this calmly if it wasn't her I was talking to, so I'm really grateful for that.
