A few days had already passed, and ever since then, me and irene unnie have been going on walks everyday.
I don't know why we suddenly did it though, but I'm really not complaining. It's fun being around irene unnie and doing what you love to do at the same time.
I've also been hanging out with mingyu a lot, which again, is pretty fun. We've have gotten a lot closer as time passes by, and honestly, I have had some pretty good laughs when I'm with him, he is a very nice guy, and very cool to be with.
I know I said that I didn't want to be associated with him in the past, but all of those seem to fade away when I started to get to know him, and he isn't that bad after all, sometimes annoying but that's basically it.
Today is just like any other day, but this time, I woke up pretty early.. world record for me, I guess.
I went to the kitchen to make breakfast for me and unnie, now is probably the second time I've actually made use of the kitchen ever since unnie became my close observer, she's really persistent on the one who makes us breakfast..
I'm making us some kimchi fried rice with a sunny side up egg on top. I'm trying to copy what ryuddaeng usually does with her kimchi fried rice.. she makes the best ones!
I was just about to put the eggs on an empty plate when I suddenly heard the door open and shut behind me.
No knocks? It must be irene unnie then..
"Good morning, unnie!" I greeted as I turned around and placed our breakfast on the counter
"You're early. I'm impressed." She set some papers down on the coffee table before approaching me
"I know right.. I don't even know why I woke up so early today, but I took this chance to make us breakfast!" I exclaimed and pointed at the dish that I made
"One of my favorite foods, l have high expectations for this.." she chuckled and sat on the bar stool
I became pretty nervous when she said that, but I guess there's only one way to find out..
Unnie took a bite of the food and I waited nervously for her reaction.
She furrowed her eyebrows and examined the food in front of her, as if she's dissecting it
"So...?" I asked
"Where did you learn this recipe from?" She questioned as she looked at me intently
"Uhm, uh, from my good friend, ryujin." I answered Truthfully
"Well, it tastes amazing." She nodded to herself and took another bite of the food
"Jinjja? I mean, of course it tastes good, it's her recipe afterall.." I confirmed proudly as I munched on the fried rice aswell.
"Ryujin.. you know, I have heard you mention her name to me a couple times, but you have actually never told stories about her." She said as we continued to eat
"Oh.. well, do you want to know stories about her?" I asked and drank some water
"If you'd like." She simply replied
"Okay, well..." I started to tell her different stories about ryujin, you know, the usual, and what I liked about all of it was the fact that she was smiling the whole time she listened to my stories.
"So you two fell in love?" She asked me
"Yeah... But, too bad I had to leave her right then and there. I just wish I hadn't done what I did before, then maybe we would've been married by now..." I looked down in sadness and fiddled with my fingers
