An Angel and her Demon

Start from the beginning

And find the angel again he did

Only to discover that she had been abandoned

Left to rot in this city of impurities

Oh how the demon seethed

How could anyone do this to his angel

The most beautiful being on Earth

He requested to escort the angel

To make sure she stayed safe

Away from all who might harm her

And if that included the group she wished to return to?

Well... who was he to look a gift horse in the mouth

And so when the angel accepted

And they made it to the tower

He saw the group right in the entrance

And knew just what he had to do

This group so obviously a pit of sinners and demons

How could his angel possibly survive?

It spoke of a strength previously unknown

And allured him even more

However he was here now

And he knew how these types of creatures worked

His angel would never have to suffer again

And so he strolled up to his targets

And brought them down oh so sound

All it took was making the queen be seen as a fraud

And then chaos ensued

The sinners tried to attack his angel and oh that could not do

He struck them back even harder

And made sure all knew

He was not going to let a single piece of filth touch his darling angel

And any who tried would be cut down

However, it seemed that he was not the only one in possession of a blade

His angel had one too

One wreathed in righteous fire

And ready to get revenge

For the angel was sick of her treatment

And when given the opportunity she let it all out

All she felt came out like a tidal wave

They ruined her

And now she ruined them

The demon was in dumbstruck awe

His angel was full of fight

He previously thought her to be like a delicate doll

But he was wrong about it all

For she was not a doll

She was a warrior

She would slice them all down

And wear her victory as a crown

The demon thought it not possible

To love her even more

And yet she proved him wrong with every word she spoke

The demon's brother, an angel as well, had been the one told to lead the group through the tower

Upon seeing the pit of wretched creatures, he was disgusted

However he could not do anything about it himself

So to see his demon little brother destroy them all

Filled him with a great joy and satisfaction

He saw the angel upon his brother's sleeve

And was confounded

Never had anyone ever been so trusted by his kin

It took his family nigh a year to even touch him

And yet this tiny little angel

Hung there like she belonged

Tucked into his arm

Like it was only natural

He sent word to the rest of his clan

Told them of the angel his brother defended

They all were astounded

They could not believe it

They're little demon

Tamed by this little angel

Their father insisted the angel be brought to their manor

So that they may feast and come to know just who had tamed their demon so

And so the angel was invited

And of course she simply could not refuse

So she donned her gown and climbed into the carriage

Only to find that the family servant

Was a guardian angel himself

He used to protect the world like she

Until he lost his connection to his god

And decided to serve the family and protect them instead

They bonded instantly

And the angel apologized

For not freeing his god from its enslaver

The wisened angel just smiled and said

She had no reason to apologize

The demon announced that they had arrived

And then escorted her inside

The angel was terrified

Of whether the clan would accept her

Only to find that she had no reason to

They all were enamored

They could not see

How an angel such as she

Would grace their demon with her presence

She was much too good for him

And yet they got along so great

They balanced each other

Like yin and yang

By the time she left

She was already a member of their clan

She would spend her vacation with this family

Only to return home

However she was not alone in protecting her city anymore

She had a whole clan of angels both fallen and not

Along with her dear demon

Ready to defend her till the end
