"Whoa! Look at how fast we're going!" Eli said, watching the trees go by.

"Never been on a train before?" Isiah asked.

"Not like this one. I guess they want to get us there as fast as possible. Have you guys met any other of the Legacies? They're kind of jerks. Especially the people in cabin one. They're the worst. I accidentally went in there, and they all lost it."

"Hopefully, we can steer clear of them," Amy said. "The last thing we need is more trouble."

"I second that," Isiah said. "What about you, Hunter?"

"Huh? Oh yeah, me neither."

"What's up? You never this quiet. We've been riding for almost an hour, and you hardly said a word?" Amy said.

"Just thinking," Hunter sighed.

"Uh-oh," Isiah laughed.

"Shut up. I'm trying to think of a better way to leave for that thing we're doing."

"What are you guys doing?" Eli asked. "Can I help?"

"Um, we're planning on a trip for when we get back. Haven't decided how we're going to get there," Amy said.

"Yeah, someone wants to get a Skycar," Isiah nodded in Hunter's direction.

"I still think it'll work. We have a lot of people."

"Do you even know where to get one?" Isiah asked.

"They normally have them at the end of The Games. We can just tak...hire one."

"I've never been in a Skycar. I don't like flying," Eli said.

"Okay, what if we can't get one?" Isiah asked.

"I'm sure we can figure something out. Maybe we can get a car?"

"A car? Really? For six people? I guess that's not a terrible idea," Isiah said. "I probably could work something out." Isiah knew that some of The staff used their own vehicles to get to The Games. Stealing on shouldn't be too difficult. The problem is finding a car that's big enough.

"At least that's one thing covered." Hunter looked out the window. "Wow, we really are going fast. How long did they say it takes to get there?"

"We should be nearly there. It's only a two-hour trip. We're heading straight to the hotel. I think we have to attend the opening ceremony for the new participants. That's our chance to meet up with the others," Amy said, looking at the itinerary. "Special events have already been happening, but they still have one every day."

"I have no interest in doing anything extra. I'm only concerned with Faith," Hunter said.

"Who's Faith?" Eli asked.

"His girlfriend," Isiah smiled.

"She's not."

"If you say so. She's a friend of his then."

Hunter was about to talk, but the intercom interrupted him. "Attention, passengers, we will be arriving soon at our destination. Please start to gather all your belongings. Once we arrive, you will put your belongings in your rooms and meet back in the lobby for the opening ceremony."

"Showtime people. What rooms are you guys in?" Hunter asked.

"641," Amy said.

"650," Isiah said.

"Hey, me too. 650," Hunter said. "We're not too far from each other."

"I'm 704," Eli said. "You guys should stop by."

"We will," Amy said.

The train pulled into the station, and cabins began to unload. Once Hunter's cabin was called, they all got off the train and stood in the lobby. "Glad it isn't in the same place," Hunter said. A group of reporters started rushing towards them. "Here they come."

"Excuse me! Hello, Legacies! Can we have a minute of your time?" A reporter asked. Staff members tried to create a human wall.

"Please stand back! You'll get your chance to interview them. Stay back, or you will be asked to leave," A staff member shouted.

"Come on, guys," Hunter said, walking around the reporters towards the elevator. He pushed the 6th and 7th floors. When the elevator stopped at floor six, Amy, Hunter, And Isiah said their goodbyes to Eli and walked down the hall.

"This is me," Amy said. "Let's meet up in ten minutes."

"Sounds good," Hunter said.

"Fine with me," Isiah said.

Amy disappeared into her room. Hunter and Isiah walked to their room. Isiah opened the door and froze.

"What?" Hunter asked.

"Isiah! It's so good to see you!" David smiled and hugged Isiah. "I knew that name sounded familiar. Long time no see, old friend."

"David? What the hell are you doing here?" Isiah asked, shaking David off.

"Wow! Easy. I was just happy to see you. It's been a while." David looked at Hunter. "Who's this?"

"My name's Hunter."

David's smile grew. "Hunter, cool name. I hope we get along. Well, I think I'll head out. See you guys later." David walked past them and walked away.

"We have a problem," Isiah said.

"What? You don't like him?"

"No, he's..."

"Hey, Isiah!" David said, jogging back. "Mind if I talk to you real quick?"

"Sure," Isiah said.

David leads Isiah down the hall to a meeting area. Once David was sure they were out of earshot, he laughed. "Oh man, you fucked up! You know that, right?" David asked. "Why would you piss off the boss?"

"Oh, is he mad? I didn't notice. If this is his way of intimidating me, it's pathetic," Isiah said. "I don't have time for this."

"Then I'll make this short. Keep who I am a secret from Hunter, and I won't have to get serious. Oh, and also, bring him to this address tonight. Bring your gear. Trust me; you're gonna need it." David held out a piece of paper. "I'll play nice if you will, Clover."

"Don't call me that. What makes you think I'll do what you say?"

"Because if you don't, I can't promise the safety of Rose. Sarah is her roommate."

Isiah grabbed David by the shirt and slammed him into the wall. He quickly took out a knife and held it to David's throat. "If you even think about hurting her, I will end you here and now. To hell with The Games!"

"Easy. Just so you know, if anything happens to me now that you're here, Sarah will act. I won't be able to stop her. Now, put that away before someone sees you." David moved the knife with the tip of his finger. "I don't understand how you like knives over guns."

Isiah put the knife back in his pocket and walked out of the room. Opening the door to their hotel room, Isiah saw Hunter waiting for him.

"You alright?" Hunter asked.

"Yeah, let's get this over with."
