Avery would have declined if it was someone else that offered, but since it was Jay and knowing how much of a good cook he is, she gladly accepted it.
"Avery"
"Hm?" Avery replied before chugging down water
"Since we're official does this mean I can call you love?"
The girl choked on her water which made Jay panic
"Ahm, I think Avery's fine" she coughed
"Love" he repeated
The girl blushed at the sudden nickname
"Stop!"
"Okay, baby" he teased then proceeds to enjoy his meal
Avery looked away from the boy as her cheeks flushed once again.

After classes ended Jay and Avery walked home to Jay's place. They thought it would be better to study for exams there.
"What should we begin with?" Jay asked once they settled down.
"Let's start with science"
"Oh, great choice!" the science lover opened the book and continued to explain the lessons she missed.
He seemed so happy as he explained the different topics in science. You could see the love he has for the subject.
Jay flicked Avery's head with a pen which caused avery to flinch
"Are you listening?" he furrowed his brows
"I am, it's just.."
She smiled at him "Sometimes I forget how smart you are. It's attractive"
Jay was caught off guard by the sudden compliment and started to blush
"..moving on"
"Are you blushing?"
"I'm not!"
"Did I just make the Jay Park blush?" I did that?"
Jay pinched her cheeks playfully trying to turn the spotlight.
"Focus," he said grumpily
"Okay my smartypants" she smiled cheekily
They studied for hours until it was time for Avery to go home. The man decided to walk her home, holding hands as they did.
"Thanks for today"
"No worries"
"Let's ace the test!" she cheered
"How about a kiss for good luck?"
The girl rolled her eyes "goodnight jay" she said before she turned to enter her home.
