- 5 days before prom -
"I need your help with something" I spoke the moment I took a seat inside one of my favorite cafes to go to.
"With what?" Mia takes a sip from her drink as she listens to my plans.
I took a deep breath and smiled happily before speaking.
"I'm gonna confess to him. I've finally decided"
Mia's eyes widened at my words and squealed after allowing the information to finally sink in.
"Are you certain?"
"I am. I wanna tell him how I feel, I'm no longer afraid"
"So what do you need my help with exactly?" she asked, curiously.
"I wanna prepare something in the beachside. Maybe some lights and some petals here and there. We can add like a small cloth for us to sit in while I confess"
"Or you can dance with him in the beachside as you feel the warmth of each other's arms" mia adds in
I blush at the thought of us dancing with all the setup, adding in the atmosphere after a confession
"You're such a romantic," I say to avoid my blushing state
"I know" she winks
I roll my eyes at her
"I'm so proud of you! we can finally have double dates wooo!" she celebrated in her seat as I looked at her and let out a chuckle
"Does this mean you'll help me?"
"Of course I'll help you! That would make me a useless bestie if I didn't"
I laughed and held her hands, feeling grateful
"I'll also ask Ni-ki to help out" she added
"Maybe Sunoo could help out too-"
"No" she cut me off
"Why not?"
"Just promise me you won't let him into this plan" she spoke seriously, scaring me a bit.
"Is he angry at me or something? I spoke to him a few days ago, he seemed fine"
"I just don't think he should be part of this," she said slowly as she looked away
"Alright, that's fine with me" I smiled to lighten up the atmosphere to which she smiled back.
"So when will this plan occur?"
"On prom, after the whole event. I'll bring him to the beachside and confess to him there" I smiled
"You have my full support bestie!!"

Prom has just begun and things have been going well so far for Avery. She and the rest were dancing and joking around while Jay was having a rather boring time with Charlotte.
