Chapter 34: Reflection

Tiningala ko siya at ganoon na lang nawala ang titig niya sa akin at mapatulala sa hangin. If he'll ask one more question about this world, I would lose my mind thinking what should I do about him and his reflection of being one of us.

Give me time, Zion. Don't end us without giving me a chance to set this fire off.

Don't rush this chaos by entering this world, Zion. Hold on a little, I swear to admit everything. This is such a nightmare. I hope you'll not leave me  just because I pulled the strings to put away justice from you.

I need you. I need you to be with me. I still need you to be here because I am such a lifeless woman without you.

Umiwas ako sa pagkakahawak niya at tinapik siya nang marahan.

"Stay here... Sasagipin ko lang si Ulfa. Hintayin mo 'ko," paninigurado ko sa kanya.

'He can't come with you... his refelction might snag out of his body.'

'I know.'

"Gusto kong sumama," Reis whispered.

"You're too weak, Reis," nilapitan ko ito at inalalayan. "Let Rashea and I do this," pagpipigil ko sa kanya.

"Sasama ako. Hindi ko siya puwedeng pabayaan," he insisted while glitching.

"Reis, your body might decline on our way... Hindi mo kakayanin. Ibabalik namin siya," tango ko.

"Call the guards, we'll be off!" Tulak niya sa akin.

Wala akong nagawa dahil maski siya ay hindi mapigilan ang kakambal na lobo. Once your mate is in danger, you can't control your beast in saving your reflection. But if the other half will remove the mark, connections will come to an end. Until your wolf will find another mate again.

Like what we did on Zion's sister and Reis. We removed the mark and surrendered her to the North. Until Reis found another mate again... At si Ulfa iyon. 

We didn't know what happened to her after. The northern clan said she was taken by mages away and made her a part of them. I don't know if she's now a mage.

"You'll stay here," paalala ko kay Zion.

"Gusto kong sumama. Baka hindi ka bumalik ulit," he insisted too.

Umiling ako at ngumiti.

"You're cute," I smiled. "Stay here and wait for me," I whispered while bringing out the knife from my pocket. "Take this," I handed him the knife.

"What? Why?" Naguguluhang tanong niya habang pinagmamasdan iyon.

"A knife from Nostalgias," bigkas ko.

"The North," he mumbled.

"It's powerful... Half of it was made from the dust of their crest. It's special and I want you to take it."

"Mine?" He asked.

"Yours... Forever," tango ko.

"Then you?" He asked again.

"What about me?" Naguguluhang tanong ko.

"When can I own you?"

Ngumiti ako para kumalma.

"I'll do everything to make it happen," hinaplos ko ang panga niya. "I'll be back with no scars."

Umangat ako para maabot siya at humalik sa pisngi niya. He blushed. Namumula ang leeg at tenga niya kaya lalong nag-init ang katawan ko.

"I love you, my love," bulong ko sa tenga niya.

Sa pagkakataong ito ay buong mukha niya ang namula. Naglakad ako palayo at kumaway sa kanya na nakatulala pa rin hanggang ngayon sa hangin.
