" Aria!" She heard June screech and groaned internally. She looked around for a possible exit but found none so she turned around with a tight lipped smile.

" June!, It's been such a while!"

" Because you've been avoiding me!" June exclaimed.

" I have not been avoiding you, I've just been busy."

" I can't believe you and Jared are getting married! No wonder you hated all his girlfriends!"

Aria frowned.

" You two are the most secretive couple ever. But I'm glad you're together, you're the only woman I know that can handle him."

" I would really love to stay and chat but meetings starting soon so..."

" Of course! But we are definitely having this conversation sometime soon." June replied with a wink.

" This is my personal assistant, and now fiancée, Aria."

" It's a pleasure to meet you Aria." William Johansson greeted.

" The pleasure is all mine." Aria replied with a tight lipped smile.

" You two made such a wonderful presentation."

" Thank you." Jared and Aria replied simultaneously.

" I got the shock of my life when I heard the infamous playboy was getting married."

" What can I say, I met someone who was worth getting tied to." Jared replied wrapping an arm around Aria's waist causing her to go rigid.

" Marriage is a wonderful thing and you'll both find out soon enough. And as a pre-wedding gift, I giving the contract to your company and increasing the pay by 30 percent."

" Thank you so much sir!"

" Don't thank me, thank the beautiful lady standing next to you. Have a lovely day."

Aria peeled his hand off her the instant William left the room.

" We're not even married yet and things are already going great."

" We're not getting married." Aria gritted.

" Deny it all you want Aria, but it's going to happen."

" We'll see." Aria replied before storming out.

" Aria!"

She groaned internally.

" Yes June?"

" I think you should call your mum. She's been calling your office line nonstop."

Of course she has.

" I'll call her. Thanks."
Her phone rang almost immediately.
" Hello?"

" Imade! Thank God you finally picked!"

" I've been busy. What's wrong? Why have you been calling my office line?"

" It's your father."

Her heart skipped a beat.

" What's wrong with Dad?"

He's in the hospital. You have to come-"

" I'm on my way."

Aria let out a shaky breath and ran her hand through her hair
" June, I gotta go."

" Is everything alright Aria?"
