Heard something on the other side of the door. Footsteps, then a small click indicating the door unlocked. The door slowly opened and there he stood. Alex. He looked as amazing as ever. Once again those eyes called to me, like they did every time. He moved over and motioned me inside. He closed the door and kept facing it while I turned to him
"Alexis-"
"What are you doing here" he didn't turn to face me. His hand still on the doorknob and head hung low.
"Alex look, I- I'm-"
"What is it y/-"
"ALEX I'M IN LOVE WITH YOU" this was what made him turn around.
"What?"
"I'm in love with you, okay? I. Am. In. Love. With. You. Do you want me to say it in Spanish? Estoy enamorada de ti. I keep showing otherwise, but it's true. I have been for some time now but I didn't want to ruin what we had. When we kissed I panicked. I was scared I had ruined something or would possibly ruined something. I miss you Alex. I miss talking to you and laughing with you. I don't care if you no longer like me, I just want to be friends with you again." The entire time I said that I only took two breaths. I now looked at him on the verge of tears. I don't know if it was the chance of rejection or the overwhelming emotions I held inside of me that surfaced so quickly. Most likely a mixture of both.
Alex just stared at me blankly.
What have I done.
He got closer to me to the point I could feel the warmth coming from his body. He towered over me. I hadn't noticed that I was now letting small tears out. He put a hand on my check and wiped them away. He softly smiled down at me and cupped my cheek.
"I crumble completely when you cry" I had known what song he quoted. The one we sang countless of times
Our faces, inches away from each other.
"I love you too y/n"
He kissed me
I was complete once again
