"I thought you told Stiles you quit during the summer." Lydia remarked as Willow opened up a window.

"And you saw nothing." Willow shot back lighting a cigarette.

After promising Stiles and Scott she wouldn't interfere, she had decided to study with Lydia at her place, seeing as she still didn't have a desk or a chair.

"What's got you so worked up?" The strawberry blonde asked as Willow looked out the window, the full moon shining bright in the night sky.

"Alpha pack." Willow blew out the smoke with a sigh.

"Well we can't be much help in a fight, can we? We're human." Lydia hummed from the bed, looking at Willow. "You know what I mean." She playfully rolled her eyes when Willow shot her a really look.

"I can fight."

"And then we'll have to deal with Stiles." Lydia shot back with a knowing smirk.

"Why do you say it like that?" Willow picked up her water bottle and threw the cigarette in.

"Can we at least talk about the party at my lake house?"

"I thought we were studying." Willow shrugged, picking up her text book.

"Sweetie, we both know we're the smartest people in our high school." Lydia said yanking the text book from Willow's hands. "A little gossip won't hurt your grades. You're just trying to avoid the topic."

"Fine." Willow groaned slumping on the bed. "What do you want to talk about?"

"I personally would like to address the drunken confession." Lydia said with a playful smile.

"You had to bring that up." Willow shook her head, vividly remembering the party.

"Oh Lydia, am I making a mistake with Isaac. I simply cannot stay away from Stiles. Did you notice how hot he became when he let his hair grow? Do you think he likes me too?" Lydia said with a mock tone making Willow scoff and hit her face with a pillow.

"That's not what I said." Willow narrowed her eyes at the girl who just shrugged.

"Seemed pretty accurate to me." Lydia said with a short laugh. "But seriously, when are you going to make a move?"

"I'm pretty sure I need to talk to Isaac first." Willow frowned, not sure what to do.

"Well, all I'm saying is don't wait too long. With all the craziness you may not get the time before..." Lydia stopped talking and Willow could see she was reminiscing her times with Jackson.

Willow put a hand on Lydia's shoulder with a small smile. She was with her the whole summer, helping her get over him.

"You okay?"

"Yeah." Lydia breathed out and put on a smile. "Just talk to Stiles. It's pretty obvious he's crazy for you too."

"Yeah, sure." Willow scoffed with a dry chuckle. "He seemed pretty into me as he was sticking his tongue down Heather's throat."

"Oh, please. That was just a kiss." Lydia said motioning with her hand. "Besides, you're the one kind of in a relationship with a hot werewolf. Not him."

"Whose side are you on?" Willow asked furrowing her eyebrows but Lydia gave her a warm smile.

"On yours."

Willow didn't remember falling asleep as she was still at Lydia's place. Opening her eyes, she realized she was at the school. Vaguely remembering another nightmare starting like this, she warily walked around. Hearing the same ominous chanting from earlier, she tried to pinpoint the source of it but it seemed like it was coming from all around her.
