Willow got out of her car and let out the breath she was holding when she saw her friend standing there, very much alive. Quickly grabbing her bag and short stick, the brunette girl walked over to her friends.

"Still bleeding?" She asked as she saw Stiles inspect Scott's bandage. "Stiles! Don't touch it." She slapped his hand away.

"It was too dark to see much, but I'm pretty sure it was a wolf." Scott explained as he put his shirt back down.

"A wolf bit you?" Stiles asked with a confused look as they walked towards the school.

"Uh huh." Scott nodded, still traumatized by the events of last night.

"No, not a chance." Stiles shook his head earning a glare from Willow.

"It was a wolf Stiles." She said backing up Scott's theory.

"We did hear a wolf howling." The shaggy haired boy added and Stiles stopped in front of the stairs.

"No, you didn't." He turned to his two best friends with an incredulous look.

"What do you mean, 'no we didn't'?" Scott got annoyed at Stiles' reply. "How do you know what we heard?"

"Because California doesn't have wolves, okay? Not in like 60 years." Stiles shrugged pointing the facts.

"Really?" This confused Scott even further so he shot a quizzical look to Willow.

"Yes, really. There are no wolves in California." Stiles replied making Willow wish he'd shut up so she could stick with the wolf theory.

"And what bit Scott? Me?" Willow interjected, shooting Stiles a daring look.

"Kinky. I like it." Stiles replied with a grin, bobbing his head.

"Oh shut up." Willow scoffed and as much as Scott liked to watch them bicker, he stepped forward.

"All right, well, if you don't believe us about the wolf, then you're definitely not gonna believe me about when I tell you we found the body." Scott said making Stiles literally jump in glee.

"Wha- Are you kidding me?" He looked at them with a huge smile.

"No, man, I wish. I'm gonna have nightmares for a month." Scott replied with a wince as Willow just nodded along.

"Yeah, thanks for asking if we're okay by the way." Willow said narrowing her eyes at him. "I couldn't sleep at all last night." She let out an involuntary yawn right on cue.

"Oh, did itty witty Wills got too scared to sleep last- " Stiles grabbed Willow's chin, making a childish face at her. "Ow! Ow! Okay. I'm sorry." He winced when the girl harshly grabbed his hand and twisted it.

"You better be." She scoffed making Scott chuckle at the scene.

"Um, back to the body..." Stiles cleared his throat as he held his wrist. "That is freaking awesome. I mean, this is seriously gonna be the best thing that's happened to this town since..." He tried to find something to compare it with then his eyes caught her. "Since the birth of Lydia Martin. Hey, Lydia." He called out to her but she ignored him completely, only shooting Willow a smile as she walked past them. "You look like you're gonna ignore me."

Willow didn't consider herself exactly Lydia's friend but they talked briefly in classes and during parties. The two teenage girls shared mutual respect towards each other and for Willow the only downside of the strawberry blonde was the fact that she felt the need to act dumb for a boy.

"Tough luck Sti. I'm sure your plan will work someday." Willow placed one arm around his and the other around Scott's shoulder with a grin.

"You're the cause of this, you know." Stiles pointed a finger at Scott.
